“Great dog friendly patio and great food for the price. Good drinks. Right on the hipster edge of being a dive bar“

“Went there tonight and it was packed since it was football playoffs. We had outstanding service, Everytime a glass got close to empty someone came to ask if we wanted a refill. The food was outstanding as well. I ordered a custom made sandwich and even though they were crazy busy it came out hot and exactly as I ordered. Love this experience. Will be back!“

“We found this place on a walk around the golf course today! Somehow we wandered off trail and found it.
Great beer, a pool table and local dive bar vibe.
Apparently they’ve been open for 97 years!
Check it out, go for a pint and a game, and support a treasure. Gentrification has closed so many good dive bars. It’s nice to see one hanging on. We will be back!!
A fun afternoon adventure we didn’t plan on, that affirmed our faith in humanity.“

“Nice spot. Close to everything. The bar tender was friendly. The beers were actually really good! I loved the laid back/ dads garage theme for the brewery.
Locals were there watching basketball when we stopped in. Seems like a fun neighbourhood hangout that tourists can also pop in and out of.“

“The Five point cafe is a true Seattle classic. The atmosphere is authentic, lively, and full of character. The food was hearty, delicious, and served in generous portions, exactly what you’d expect from a legendary diner.
If you are looking for a genuine Seattle experience with great comfort food and a unique local vibe, this place is it. I like it!“

“As bar food goes, this place ranks on top. Finding anything in Seattle that isn't over priced is difficult. Good fried seafood at a great price in a small neighborhood bar.“

“Fun little dive bar in a strip mall. I've only been for weekday lunch, but the beer is good, food is really good, and the dive bar atmosphere gets upscale with office chairs. I've had the grinder and Cuban and both were great with lots of fries/tots/onion rings too accompany. We also had a shrimp in a spicy cream sauce appetizer that was really good. The pizza was good, but I much preferred the sandwiches.“

“Love this place!!! It’s a great neighborhood pub with everything you’d want—GREAT staff (Bekkah, Ellie, and Joe are big reasons why we keep coming back), fun trivia nights, karaoke, and special events about once per month. Wide variety of rotating taps, liquor, wine, hard seltzers, and clever Jell-O shot creations. Brunch on weekends and tasty apps/ lunch/ dinner fare with a kitchen that’s open late. This is a place where everybody knows your name. We’ll be back to see our people soon 🤩“

“I like this place a lot. In actuality it probably doesn't deserve 5 stars, but that's what I like about it. I just have never had a bad time there. Sometimes we get a table right away and sometimes we don't. Sometimes we get a better table; sometimes we don't. But everytime I've enjoyed myself, and my experiences with the staff have always been good. I also really like that you can order food from next door and bring it in with you.“

“I don't usually do reviews on bar and grills, but this place has the best chicken strips I have ever had, I could tell that right away that they're made by scratch, 100% fresh chicken breast smashed down and breaded, the atmosphere reminds me of the show Cheers, drinks are also reasonably priced, if I lived in Seattle I could totally see myself being a regular!“

“We came all the way from East Alabama and wanted to find a fun place in the evening. We were not disappointed when we came across Shorty's. The prices and food were amazing and Pete kept us thoroughly entertained! If you're looking for some fun (have an appetite for a dog) and have some time to kill, then I don't think you could find a better spot than Shorty's!😋“

“I do show a couple doors down from this place and several of my friends do shows at Pony. Always a good time there. It's an interesting, very narrow triangle layout but with a big patio.
A photo booth, plenty of cruising, and bonus glory hole in the bathroom.“

“10 STARS
This is my favorite bar in Capitol Hill. I come here quite frequently with friends but still spend my days daydreaming about my next visit. Playlist NEVER disappoints. It’s a new vibe everyday and I’m always dying to get the link. MAJOR Kudos. My phones wallpaper? Captain Blacks nachos. Playing cards on the deck with a beer and fist full of nachos is my happy place. Love love love love love Captain Blacks.“

“I really enjoyed this place as visiting Pikes Place and needed a real vegan lunch. Staff was so friendly and service was quick. Note you order via QR code on table and any alcohol at the bar. The hibiscus margarita was super refreshing. However, for the portions, this was very expensive. A burrito, chips, and gauc cost me $30 before drink with tip. Plus, I had to order on a QR code so not a lot of service involved there. The food was good but reminded me of a burrito I would get at a whole in the wall mexican restaurant for 1/3 the price when I would eat meat. Additionally, the inside felt like it was still closed it was so dark and empty.“
“It's a pirate themed dive / sports bar. Karaoke on Saturdays is worth showing up for. The house drinks are strong and they even managed to make a decent old fashioned with buffalo trace burbon. People were easy to talk to and the drinks were priced reasonably. I will be back.“
