“I tried this place today based on Google reviews. I had the gyro and side of falafel. Food tasted really fresh and seasoned well, I was pleasantly surprised. I especially appreciated the good service. If i could change one thing about the service though, it would be hand washing, because they just went straight to prepping my order. I just happen to inspect restaurants on a daily basis, so I’m accustomed to looking at hygiene. Other than that— would recommend 👍🏻“

“Day trip to the westside, where we found this little gem in Redmond. By far, THE BEST Indian Pakistani food we have ever had. With every bite, we could taste how much care & love went into preparing their authentic ingredients. I could have ordered every item on their menu, but decided on lamb korma with pulao rice, chicken korma & samosa. It was plenty for us to share. We met both the owner & chef. “We were visiting Seattle from New York, so we searched on Google and found the best reviews of Shahana Steakhouse. We decided to stop by for the Ramadan Buffet (we visited a couple more restaurants in Seattle), so the best Iftar buffet and the out-of-class service in the Seattle area is here, with excellent customer service and a perfectly managed buffet. I noticed they were crazy busy on weekdays. The restaurant was full of people, and there was a long line; the staff served dates in the line and continued filling the dishes with food, even for families that were joining very late. Everything was fresh and warm, including their delicious pizza, fried chicken, and tikka boti. I loved Shahi Tukray; you must try it if you are there for a buffet. They even served the food at the tables for the customers who came in later. They came to us twice at our table to serve the food. Everything was very well set up, and there was fantastic management. I am going there for suhoor/breakfast and will let you all know about the homemade parathas and omelets. Stay tuned.“

“Prices are reasonable and still incredibly yummy and well proportioned. Service is consistently good and for the price, service, and type of beef (Halal) - it’s a win, win, win. Would go there over and over again as my go to smash burger place even though it is out of the way for where I live. You can tell the staff care for each other and the community they serve. “We came in yesterday with a group of 12 women from our book club, and the owner was incredibly accommodating and kind. The food was healthy, fresh, and full of flavor, which is so refreshing in a world of overly processed “fast food.” I had the warm honey cardamom tea (so cozy!), the cauliflower appetizer, and took the grilled chicken bowl home to share with my husband. The owner even surprised us with a coconut whipped cream dessert, which was such a sweet touch. One of the staff members (I wish I had gotten his name!) was so patient and helpful while I asked a ton of questions about recommendations. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another book club meetup and more visits in between!“

“We had the best first experience at K Street Food! Finding halal Korean BBQ isn’t always easy, so we were so happy to see they offer a dedicated halal menu — such a win.

The restaurant itself is spacious, bright, and very clean. The grills were spotless (which matters so much for BBQ), and everything felt well maintained and comfortable.

Now the food 😍 — the meats were incredibly flavorful and tender, and the sides were just as delicious. Every plate that came out made us more excited to keep grilling. The halal menu is on the pricier side, but honestly it feels worth it for the quality and portion sizes you get.

It’s a large restaurant with plenty of seating, but it’s clearly popular, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation. Such a great spot for a fun night out!“

The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and welcoming. I was given a complimentary refill of my reisling and they also give you a little slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“

“Delicious Arab style falafel- super crispy, good balance of ingredients, pita was fresh and the whole thing had the perfect flavor! I accidentally ordered from a different location and showed up here and the man working there was very kind and decided to make my order for me even though it was already ready at the other spot. “Restaurants in Seattle area are on a whole another level. There's atleast 20 places offering buffet alone. Each competing with the other to offer you the best. Today I went to Biryani Palace in Bellevue and my experience was no different. The ambience is great. There are two sections with veg and non veg on either sides offering a host of dishes. I tried karampudi chicken, shola kabab, mutton pepper fry, amravati chicken curry, hyderabadi biryani and some methi chaman and pav bhaji masala. For desserts I tried the mango fruit salad. All the meats are halal and for $12.99 per person you get some great food with friendly customer service who restock often and treat you like a king.“

Price of food really on higher side with minimum quantity. Another thing is you cant split a bill. So on one table they only accept one credit card. Everything on the menu is fully halal, which is a big plus. It’s super convenient for takeout, and they’re open late. If you decide to dine in, there’s plenty of seating, even for larger groups. Definitely worth checking out!“
