The Main Street Starbucks in Lakewood has a great crew of employees. The food/drinks are consistent, the baristas are friendly and personable, and the drive-through wait is usually short even during busy times.
This is the best one in Tacoma. I have been to almost every single one in Tacoma and this location is managed the best. Attentive and pleasant staff, always clean (including restrooms). The staff here work very hard to make sure all customers are satisfied. Other locations could learn a thing or two from this one.
Kailee Kayla sandy Talia are amazing. Drink always right and they know you by name.. I dont and won't go to any other one

Many consider it the friendliest Starbucks, with staff who go above and beyond, offering cheerful and extravagant greetings, checking on seated customers, and creating warm, refreshing interactions that make customers feel like old friends.
The cafe itself is on the smaller side with narrow seating areas, but it is kept simple and clean. It is never empty, often filled with people working on laptops or having small meetings, preserving a real, OG community cafe feel. Service is smooth, quick, and efficient, perfect for people on the move, especially with a reliable drive-thru option for early mornings. The coffee is consistently solid and dependable.
The menu includes items like an iced cinnamon dolce latte, oatmeal with many topping options, and a hot, fresh sausage and cheddar sandwich. Even during busy times, the staff remains attentive, sometimes even bringing orders directly to a customer's seat.
