I'm from Texas. These owners tout their history as being Texans. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Expecting a steak similar at least to what I use to getting in Texas. However, no such luck. While everything tasted good (except the gravy) I was disappointed in the chicken fried steak. Wonderful breakfast sandwiches and amazing BBQ! Also winter ski rential location. Try this place and you will have a great experience. They also offer a drive up window.
Unfortunately they missed the mark here.
my husband and I both ordered the loaded smoked Mac. if we didn't add the brisket I'm inside how it would be "smokey" the sauce was unflavored and worse then many out of a jar. the brisket was good glad I got that. we also ordered some "boneless wings" they appeared to be the frozen popcorn chicken you can buy at a grocery store, even down to the honey BBQ sauce.... was not good. it's too bad we were excited to not drive all the way...read full review
