Palenque Mexican Restaurant has the best Mexican food we’ve had in…we can’t even remember. Fast, top notch, friendly service from our server Gerardo. The chips and spicy salsa was fantastic. Hot and crispy chips and the salsa had a get kick with an awesome undertone of fresh lime. We came at happy hour and enjoyed house margaritas that were not skimpy on the alcohol. We had the pork carnitas, which were crispy, juicy and fell apart perfectly. It came with guacamole, so good, with red and green salsas that we were so glad that they came in to go cups. Well seasoned rice and beans. Mouth watering with every bite. Our other dish was the carne asada street tacos, which were massive, and the meat was so tender. Both plates were loaded with food. We could not highly recommend a better place than here. Run, don’t walk!
