“Palenque Mexican Restaurant has the best Mexican food we’ve had in…we can’t even remember. Fast, top notch, friendly service from our server Gerardo. The chips and spicy salsa was fantastic. Hot and crispy chips and the salsa had a get kick with an awesome undertone of fresh lime. We came at happy hour and enjoyed house margaritas that were not skimpy on the alcohol. We had the pork carnitas, which were crispy, juicy and fell apart perfectly. It came with guacamole, so good, with red and green salsas that we were so glad that they came in to go cups. Well seasoned rice and beans. Mouth watering with every bite. Our other dish was the carne asada street tacos, which were massive, and the meat was so tender. Both plates were loaded with food. We could not highly recommend a better place than here. Run, don’t walk!“

“I’m not sure how this location has 3.9 stars. Sam and her crew on Father’s Day at 4:00 PM really demonstrated top tier customer service. They really took their time to listen to mine and my partners ordering issues and executed a plan so calmly and fast. These folks really made our night and definitely deserve some form of recognition! Great work to you and your team, Sam!“

“Make sure you order extra birriera. I froze mine and marinated my chuck roast with it. I enjoyed Birririea (spelling is prob. wrong) burritos. They were as delicious as my original order. I love this place, and it is SO OBVIOUS the owners love this place. YOU CAN TASTE THEIR PASSION for excellent cuisine. This is one place that I will file in my brain as one of the very best on the face of this earth, according to my immediate exposure. Keep your passion, because we taste it!“

“We LOVE LOVE LOVE all the beautiful creations that MAMA TIAZ makes. Tonight we had her pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw and it was a treat for our pallet. My husband and son who are not the biggest fans of pulled pork said that the combo of the pork and coleslaw were a home run and the best they have ever had. MAMA TIAZ also makes the most delicious desserts. If you can think it she can make your culinary dreams come true. MAMA TIAZ also makes the most yummy Chicken Pot Pie with homemade crust. She catered our whole Thanksgiving meal. What haven’t I said?! Try her out because you will not be disappointed! I promise. She’s an amazing human with a wonderful talent.“

“Only eat there. never order delivery through a service. they will mess up everything you order for delivery, every single time. want to add sour cream? they'll put it in the wrong burrito. want to remove a sauce? they'll put on extra. this happens across every location in Spokane, every single time I've gotten delivery. again, only eat in store, and not the Sprague store, it's disgusting in there. last time I was in there they had dead flies on the tables and a leaking ceiling.“

“I just want to say that every time I’ve eaten at the Sprague and Pines location the food is wonderful and the customer service is also amazing!! Heidi was so great she was so kind on the phone when I called 2 minutes prior to closing asking if I pull in the lot at 9-9:01 can I please still order She was so sweet and told Phil the guy at the window to take my order and they did. Shane I am assuming made the food and it was perfect no complaints at ALL!!!! This is rare because almost every other Taco Time in Spokane, Wa. Has either messed up the order or the food is awful. I had to go back twice the other night at the Francis location which was super frustrating because it still was not right!!

“I have only visited this location a few times since I usually go to the CDA location because it is closer to home, but I absolutely love this one. The staff are consistently friendly, especially Robert and Natalie, who always provide excellent service.

The atmosphere and overall cleanliness here are noticeably better than at the CDA location. The restaurant feels more welcoming, well maintained, and enjoyable to dine in. I look forward to coming back to this location whenever I can.“

“I've been coming here for years, the only complaint I have is that they discontinued my favorite medium green sauce and an excess amount of cilantro stems. Other than that the food is fresh and tortillas are handmade. I'm very sad about the medium sauce being gone 💔“
