And the salsa's are super fresh and tasty! Really, every element is amazing: the beans, the guac, how tightly wrapped the burritos are... these friendly folks and their food are simply the best.“

“This was my second time at El Jefe’s and it was just as great as the first. The food and service were both amazing.

I ordered the queso fries topped with steak and they were seriously delicious. The fries were loaded with queso, amazing pickled onions, to die for cucumber pico, and the steak on top was super tender and full of flavor. Everything came out hot and fresh. I also had the churro fries, which were perfectly crispy and coated in cinnamon sugar — such a good dessert.

The staff was really friendly and welcoming, and the service was great the whole time. You can tell they take pride in the food they’re serving.

Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food and a great atmosphere, El Jefe’s is absolutely more than worth checking out.

One of the coolest things is that they mainly cook with beef tallow, which makes everything taste incredible and doesn’t leave you feeling bad after fried foods. The tacos are especially outstanding, and the portions hit that perfect balance of being generous without going overboard.

“Awesome and exactly what we wanted. Ricardos and his staff are always very welcoming anyone who says otherwise is very confused. His business starred very small and now he has a wonderful quaint establishment next to Ace In Post Falls. The food is always on point. Delicious and possibly more than you anticipated, but I won't complain about that. I will continue to enjoy his food and hospitality until the day I die. Well you know what I mean.
