We went in for coffee and sandwiches at 3:10 (place closes at 4:00) and they wouldn't make coffees, saying it was a slow day and they wanted everything to be closed up on time, surely it doesn't take 50 minutes to clean up after some coffees..On top of this they delivered someone else's meal to our table (we were a table of six, the other table was a table of one) and took our table number away before any of us received our food aside from the one wrongly delivered meal. We had to give the wrongly delivered food to the other table ourselves to correct the mistake. On top of that everything is quite expensive and water is self serve, we also had to clear our own table. I don't think we'll be giving them our business again.

This this place was awesome! Friendly, great food and quaint. We were only in town two days and my wife insisted we return. We will 100% be back.

Great spot for breakfast, brunch, or just a coffee. Open space with a lot of natural light.Sandwich, soups, and breakfast menu options available. The space is openly connected to the bookstore.

Avenue Bread is a wonderful restaurant that I would enjoy frequenting. With great food and polite service, this downtown Lynden bistro style environment always leaves you wanting for more.Parking: Parking can be difficult to find. Especially if you want to park close. However, whether you're able to park close or not, the walk to the Avenue Bread will be nice. Downtown Lynden has quite a few stores that could become your favorite place to shop.Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs here.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Beware of the quality of the lettuce in the salads, this is disgusting. The Manger didn't seem to care.

My family and I love going to Avenue Bread for brunch. We come all the way from Langley, Canada because we love it so much! Not only do we love the food but we love the atmosphere! We just went today and love the Christmas decor, feels like a hallmark movie in there! Super cute spot! Highly Recommended!

We really liked our first visit. It was crowded for good reasons. But, we found a table and had a good lunch.

We came here for breakfast. It’s a busy, popular place! We both had an omelette with a croissant on the side and it was really delicious!

Place has gotten too busy. You can’t get within a block of parking, if you ever go there multiple times, you’ll see it’s the same people sitting on the same table, usually ladies, and they don’t buy that much either.
