Vienna attitude without the charm. Coffee and pastries were good, but the amount of rules and lecturing are honestly not creating the unique atmosphere an actual Kaffeehaus in Vienna provides. At least I haven’t been to one where you have to order at the bar, pay ahead of time and suggested tip starts at 15%. Glorified Starbucks with more pretentiousness than substance.
Such an interesting coffee experience. 300-year-old recipes from Vienna, I've never had it before, so I have no bar to compare it to, but the Salon Einspanner definitely woke me up.
One of the most unique experiences I have had at a coffeehouse. Viennese using centuries old recipes, sophisticated and unashamedly so. The service was top-notch. My drink was the most delicious chai I have ever tasted. I traveled out of my way just to try this unique place. I’m so glad I did.
