“We love this place - the grandsons always have a great time. There is entertainment for the kids, including a huge maze, vintage tractors they can play on, a big bean pit with toys, and a little train to ride. They also had several photo backgrounds and face-on-the-hole boards for kids and family photo opportunities. We ride the tractor-trailer out to the orchard to pick apples and to the pumpkin patch to choose pumpkins. There were several foods booths, including corn dogs (regular or elk dogs), elephant ears, pumpkin doughnuts, etc. They had a few craft vendors, they sold fall produce (squash, pumpkins, apples, peanuts), and they had a little store with fresh pies, some preserves, candy, and gifts. Overall it was a fun experience this year, but we went very late in the season (October 25th), so you had to really search for apples in the orchard, because they were picked over and becoming over-ripe. I recommend going a little earlier, but you'll really enjoy it!“

“Neat place 👌🏼. It has a row of claw machines along the front window inside the place to keep you entertained while waiting for your puffs.
Speaking of puffs ... these are big and generally filled. The pastry was fresh, fluffy and flacky. The filling was very creamy and not overly sweet, so you can really taste the flavors.
Got the ube and dulche leche puffs, both with vanilla fillings; also the chocolate, macha and ube fondants to try.
Gonna have to come back and try the other flavors 😋

Had to get more before I go back to Texas.
This time, I got the Oreo Cookie Crumble Eclair with cookies & cream filling, Hurry Eclair with vanilla filling, S'more Eclair with chocolate filling, and a Taro Custard drink. Beard Papa's does not disappoint 🙌🏻 👌🏼 👏🏻 😋 😍 everyone that works there are super helpful and friendly.“

“Enjoyed my croissant sandwich and desert. The only thing that made it a poor experience was the service. We went on a $2 off sandwich on a Monday. When we pointed out that we did not get $2 off, we were informed that we should have told them prior to the completion of the sale. Bottom line, they didn’t take the $2 off. It’s a little thing, but poor service will make me choose somewhere else the next time we are out for lunch.“

“I bought a slice of blueberry flavored coffee cake and a GF blueberry muffin on my way to work. The coffee cake was perfectly crisp on the outside and super moist on the inside. The blueberries were delicious! The blueberry muffin was especially moist inside and also delicious!“

“We have always gone here for the mini birthday cakes for 1-2 people. Well I contacted them (1 and a half days before event) if they could do a large version of it. They did exactly that!! It was to die for. I could have left it out of fridge a tiny bit longer before the event as the inside was pretty cold and stiff still but the looks (I asked for simple because my husband is a simple kinda guy lol) and the taste were perfect. I am eating a leftover piece now and can’t get over how freaking good it is. “We visit Manito Park every time we come to Spokane, but this was the first time we had ever tried the Rockwood Bakery, and it was a nice surprise. Love the decor, just felt like a warm, inviting space to sit and enjoy a nice coffee and a wonderful baked item. The Counterperson was bright, cheerful, and seemed to really enjoy her job - which was very refreshing to see. I had a HUGE slice of strawberry rhubarb pie (with whipped cream on the side!), and my wife had a blueberry muffin. My pie was awesome, my Wife thought the muffin was a little dry, but had good flavor. Prices were very reasonable. We will be back for sure!“
