I always love this place good food, good service. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the last time the service was pretty poor. I'm pretty sure they had a new girl working and she kept forgetting things. Also the karaoke from the bar is super loud. Please do something about this. Your trying ro have a nice meal and all you can hear is drunk people trying to sing, when they they have no business trying to.
I've been a customer here since as far back as I can remember. Grandparents took me out to eat here in the 1990's when I was a little kid. Probably spent a couple thousand on food and adult drinks over the decades. They still have that big nostalgic Buddha statue at the entry. Hong Kong Gardens is a truly solid part of Mount Vernon's history. The Chinese food quality is above average in the area. Portions are huge. Prepare to be stuffed.
