“I don’t know why it took me so long to write this review. A few years back during a crazy winter storm the power was all through Mountlake terrace. I don’t know why, but I for some reason thought this place would be open because I saw someone walk out while I was driving by. I went in and it was lit by a couple candles but completely dark besides that. Nonetheless, the owner asked me what I wanted (pad see ew), and he proceeded to go whip up this amazing pad see ew with little to no light. So yeah, this place is amazing.“

“This is a family run business. I love the family feel when you enter. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved my soup and gyoza. The broth was excellent. I choose egg noodles and pork, Brussels sprouts, green onion. It was fantastic. I can only recommend this beautiful little restaurant.“

“We fell in love with the food and staff at the West Seattle commissary (and miss them very much) but just recently visited their wonderful new storefront space on Greenwood in Shoreline! We're big fans of the Khao Man tofu and the Khao Man Gai (Hainan simmered chicken, like I had growing up in Hong Kong), and of course the Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. Patty just introduced us to the corn fritters which were amazing. We discovered it's the best place to detour to avoid I-5 traffic coming home from Bellingham. Fair warning it’s about 15% more expensive than other Thai spots around and the portions are a little small but it’s a local spot and some of the best Thai in Wallingford.“

I wasn't feeling very hungry tonight when she wanted to order from here and saw that there were chicken nuggets to snack on and finding out they were dinosaur shaped made my night. LOL. I had it served with mixed vegetables that were perfectly wok'd, still crunchy, not soggy, and with great flavor. Food is cooked to order, fresh, and very flavorful. “Ray’s Rice and Noodle Bar is such a great find! The restaurant has a cute, clean ambiance, and sitting outside along Greenwood makes for a perfect casual dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful — the Pad Thai was absolutely delicious, and the fried eggplant was so fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted vibrant and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be returning!“

“I don’t know what’s taken us so long to check out Nua seeing that we literally are a 5 minute walk away, but this is now a regular for us.

The basil fried rice here is absolutely the best I’ve ever had - it’s packed with so much flavor and the tofu is always done right. It has become a staple whenever I get food here. But the real star is the Kao Soi - there isn’t a better one in the city, and is a perfect meal in winter.

The massaman curry is pretty nice too. The rice portion that come with it is actually one the larger side than most places.“

“I’m Thai so I always have high expectations for Thai restaurants. But this place I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I don’t see much Southern Thai food in the area, so this is new and exciting.

They accommodated our 6-person reservation. The portions are on the smaller side, which let us try many dishes. I can say everything we tried was really delicious and authentic. The main highlight was MUU KHO. We had to order it twice. The spiciness level isn’t really at the level of southern food you’d find in Thailand, but I understand why. Myself, from central Thailand, cannot handle the real southern spiciness either, so this was perfect for us.

Service was great and very attentive. There are many other dishes we didn’t try, and we will definitely come back.“

“This is truly my favorite restaurant. I go here allllll the time. My favorite dishes are the khao soi, side salad (their dressing is phenomenal), cashew nut entree, spicy basil entree. If you want a simple takeout, this is the place to go. They also have a large projector where they sometimes show live streams of night markets so it’s a super inviting environment to dine in as well. You can also watch them cook because the kitchen is connected. I literally love this place so much, a review is long overdue. 1000000/10

The service was great, and the vibe honestly reminds me of eating street food in Thailand.
It's really chill and laid-back. We ordered the crispy pork belly with Thai basil, and they use real Thai basil—not regular basil. It's a big deal for Thai people because the flavor and aroma are completely different. Of course, we dug right into it and forgot to take a picture of crispy pork belly dish🫣🤭 If you're looking for a place to enjoy casual, delicious Thai food, this is the place!“
