“I'm so glad we discovered this local Thai place because I cannot wait to go back and make this our go to Thai.

Food: we got the Pad see ew and the massamum curry and both were very delicious. The spice level was perfect for what we chose and the flavors were really on point. Value was great as well.

Service and ambience: my first thought coming into this place is what acquaint and cozy little restaurant this is. It's filled with plants and unique figurines and funky dolls even. The man who served us was super friendly and you can tell he was very happy as well. He checked in on us often and made sure everything was going well.

Everything about this place makes me want to come back Soon.“

“This is a family run business. I love the family feel when you enter. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved my soup and gyoza. The broth was excellent. I choose egg noodles and pork, Brussels sprouts, green onion. It was fantastic. I can only recommend this beautiful little restaurant.“

“We fell in love with the food and staff at the West Seattle commissary (and miss them very much) but just recently visited their wonderful new storefront space on Greenwood in Shoreline! We're big fans of the Khao Man tofu and the Khao Man Gai (Hainan simmered chicken, like I had growing up in Hong Kong), and of course the Thai tea, and mango sticky rice. Patty just introduced us to the corn fritters which were amazing. We discovered it's the best place to detour to avoid I-5 traffic coming home from Bellingham. “We’ve been coming here for a long time (since back when it was Full Moon Thai) and it’s only gotten better over the years. Each ownership change has improved the food and the atmosphere.

The dishes are always solid, the vibe is relaxed, and it’s one of those places you can count on for an amazing Tom Yum soup or a Thai tea without fighting the crowds in busier areas.

Another big plus: there’s almost always free parking. That alone makes it an easy weeknight favorite. Issaya is one of those standbys we keep returning to.“

“A great hidden gem in Ballard! Really clean and nice ambiance. The waitress and the chef were very friendly and provided great customer service. They have a happy hour menu here including some appetizers as well as dishes. We ordered Pad Thai for really great price and it was delicious! We'll definitely be back. ☺“

“Vegan options - the service was so polite and friendly as it was an impulse selection. The crispy rolls and potstickers were a great start...they were hot so let them cool down first before eating. The main courses with a selection of orange tofu, pad see ew, and then of course the 45th street noodles. The 45th street are basically noodles and pho wrapped in a fresh roll, so good! Definitely going back if in the area again!“

“Ray’s Rice and Noodle Bar is such a great find! The restaurant has a cute, clean ambiance, and sitting outside along Greenwood makes for a perfect casual dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful — the Pad Thai was absolutely delicious, and the fried eggplant was so fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything tasted vibrant and well-prepared. I had it served with mixed vegetables that were perfectly wok'd, still crunchy, not soggy, and with great flavor. Food is cooked to order, fresh, and very flavorful. “I’m Thai so I always have high expectations for Thai restaurants. But this place I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I don’t see much Southern Thai food in the area, so this is new and exciting.

They accommodated our 6-person reservation. The portions are on the smaller side, which let us try many dishes. I can say everything we tried was really delicious and authentic. The main highlight was MUU KHO. We had to order it twice. The spiciness level isn’t really at the level of southern food you’d find in Thailand, but I understand why. Myself, from central Thailand, cannot handle the real southern spiciness either, so this was perfect for us.

Service was great and very attentive. There are many other dishes we didn’t try, and we will definitely come back.“

The whole restaurant has a chill and laid back vibe with a spacious layout and calm music (not to mention it is kept in pristine condition!) “Stumbled upon this Thai place after the next door museum at around 235, shortly before closing. We weren’t aware of the hours, but they still served us delicious fresh food and did not rush us out the door. We enjoyed the green curry, a couple appetizers and the mango sticky rice. Our service was very kind and sweet to our toddler as well, making it an enjoyable late lunch for us all. Will come back for sure.“

So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. Call-in orders for pickup only! Same owners run Pestle Rock next door, and Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine Wallingford. Photos of my favorites: KROB KEM: plantain chips! PLUS their 2 star options are more like 3.5-4 star compared to any Asian style cuisine in the area makes a HUGE difference. They might have a cute server also... win-win for everyone.“
