“We had lunch for the 1st time ever at Skylar's! New Year's Day on our way to Long Beach... The food and service was prenominal! I had the homemade clam chowder, and 5 grilled oysters, and my husband had the fish and chips! Excellent Service, Friendly atmosphere, and Superb Chowder for me! I would love the recipe... as that day we went to go dig razor clams.“

“My friend and I stopped in here because I always get clam chowder while on the coast! And it did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and food was out of this world! We ordered fried artichoke hearts (a huge win because my friend is gluten free) and we both got clam chowder. Highly recommend if you're in the area!“

“The food was delicious. The French Dip was top notch! The garlic fries were tasty enough for a meal alone! We enjoyed it so much the first time we tried them this week that we went back the very next night. The vibe is nice and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back! (We had French dipx2, Shrimp grits, Po boy sandwich, fried pickles and crab cakes between both meals)“

“Fantastic idea and wonderful people, extremely generous of their time and devoted to propagate the passion of sailing on the Peninsula. Hats off and looking forward to everything Cora, Antony and John have planned for the SYBC. Also: SYBC is not a restaurant, it’s a yacht club serving delicous food. It’s not a bar, it’s a yacht club serving great liquor and cocktails.“
