Really great pizza and they seem to use fresh chunks of tomato on their spaghetti and meatballs which is also good. We usually call in an order as the place is fine but not really restaurant atmosphere. For call in orders it’s a good idea to call a second time to double check how much more time is left for your pizza to be ready before leaving to pick up…as depending on who takes your order we’ve had a few occasions where they underestimated ready times and and waited there for pickup from 20 minutes to 30 minutes after arriving. If it is a cook who answers it will be accurate but sometimes the help gets it wrong. But in any case your pizza will not be under done and will be wonderful.“

“Hmm, where to start... They have the best pizzas with their signature crispy wood-fired pizzas, and we aren't kidding that they are our absolute favorite pizzas in all of Washington. Next on the list are their pizza rolls. We've had good pizza rolls, but never pizza rolls like Fondi's. Pro tip: If you really want your pizza rolls to be epic, you have to dip them in Fondi's homemade gorgonzola dressing. Trust us. We even know a three-year-old who isn't a fan of pizza (yeah, we think it's crazy too), but he will devour half a plate of Fondi's pizza rolls... Their salads are the freshest salads around; you'd think they were a strictly salad restaurant with how amazing these salads are. We've tried every single salad on the menu, and if we had to pick our favorite, maybe the Insulata di mele with its fennel-candied walnuts, but then we'd feel bad for forgetting their classic Caesar's forum, which is a Caesar salad even your kids will want to eat! We may have saved the best for last, because Fondi's flatbread, which we order crispy with the fresh mozzarella, white bean dip (kind of like hummus if we had to compare it to something more well known), and their pomodoro spread (a really fresh marinara-type dip). We almost forgot our favorite dessert! The Burnt Creme, aka Creme Brulee, is incredible; it's really the best way to finish your meal, but we sometimes order the Affogato as well, it's espresso over ice cream, and it's delicious!“

“The pizza here is great, the location is good. The four stars is for the staffing. It seems like everytime I go in there the store is lacking employees. My last trip was on a Friday night and only two employees were there. As we were waiting an employee comes through the door with McDonald's in his hand, the lead girl says your late......and then he proceeded to go eat his food all the while the two girls out front struggled to keep up. The lead called for him twice but no show. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get 2 pizza's together. Bravo to the two girls who busted their asses to keep up.“

“Just came to town after driving in from Minnesota and was so looking forward to Mod Pizza after having it in Colorado. This location didn’t disappoint! I had a mishap (my own fault) with the ordering process and the manager was so kind and gave tremendous customer service. Looking forward to going back as much as possible until we leave!“

“We got the "supreme" pizza - pepperoni, salami, sausage, mushrooms and onions. Also had a Ceasar salad. Their Ceasar dressing is to die for. It's absolutely delicious, fresh lettuce, it was great! “Hy lu Hee Hee ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hy Lu Hee Hee means “Good Times and Lots of Laughter.” The Hy lu Hee Hee is a Gig Harbor, WA local’s hang-out that got it start as a Tavern in 1935. In 1958, the State condemned the tavern building and asked that the business vacate the premises, so they could build a new highway to Purdy. The business was rebuilt in 1983, in a new location, by new owners, which is where it has remained ever since. I have been visiting Gig Harbor since 1990, but my first visit to the Hy Lu Hee Hee wasnt until 5/19/23, which was a Friday. Although I arrived before 9 PM, the music was LOUD! I’ve decided to do a sound check via the app SoundPrint. It averaged 83 dB and got as high as 88 dB, which is considered Very Loud. That would’ve been acceptable if I had signed up to see a live band, but it wasn’t. It was bad pre-recorded music, being played over blown speakers.  I had to shout out my order. Everyone around me was shouting too. My server told me this is the norm after 9 PM. Unless you’re already deaf, or enjoy the thought of shouting at your dining companions, I recommend you visit the Hy Lu Hee Hee earlier in the day.  I ordered one of the five house favorites on the menu, Fish + Chips ($17) - Breaded and Seasoned Wild Alaskan True Cod with Fries, House Slaw + Tartar Sauce. Compared to all the fish and chips I’ve eaten in Washington state, it was pretty standard fare. It was a generous portion of fries, and I liked the housemade tartar sauce. The coleslaw had decent flavor, but it obviously been made sometime ago and was swimming in liquid. Personally, I prefer Tides Tavern, which is another Gig Harbor local’s hang out, but I’ll be back at some point to visit the Hy lu Hee Hee. “Good food. As good as we remembered when we lived there. They were definitely under staffed the day we were there. There were just a few people in there but it took almost 40 min for our order. Luckily we had the time, but could be an issue for someone else. My only complaint, it was ridiculously cold inside. Obviously only an issue if you are dining in“

“Well, I would recommend Spiro's only because in the 30+ years I've been dining there, it's been great... with the exception of yesterday! May 8, 2024, my birthday. Of all the places I could have chosen, I chose Spiro's because the Baked Tortellini sounded so good. And then it was served... so disappointing. It had been under the heat lamp or broiler for so long, the cheese was petrified on top and the tortellini on top was like biting stones. Nobody ever came to check on us. My daughter had to go ask for more of her beverage. Then she had to go again to ask for a box. I had asked for a pitcher of water at the counter where we ordered and paid. None was presented. I ran out of water and proceeded to drink what was left of everyone else's water. It just wasn't the birthday experience I had hoped for. Plus they were having roof work done so the loud thuds and bangs were startling at times! Mainly it was my entree and the service that disappointed me! When we left, nobody said thank you for coming in, nothing! And to think we left a tip before we were seated. Wish we could take that tip back, as it was in no way earned!!! Sorry Spiro's, you need to do better! I like your restaurant, but I'm not anxious to come back after yesterday, sadly.“

“My family and I stopped in tonight to grab something quick to eat. Tonight was our first time stopping in even though we have thought about it for years…. I’m so bummed we waited this long. My two kids, my husband, and myself all agree this was the best meal we have had in a long time. Also, it was so affordable! Now a days we can’t go grab food for less than $50 and we aren’t happy. Tonight it was less than $40 and our bellies are completely full. Will definitely be back, and let everyone know how good it was. Can’t wait to come back in the summer and try their shakes with real strawberries“

“I like Domino’s pizza. I eat there at least once a month when I’m with the guys and on the run. I love the 6.99$ deal for any 2 topping medium pizza’s. I would rate them a 5 star rating. However every once in awhile they like to short me on my pizza toppings. And it really sucks to have to go back when you are strapped for time just because your pizza has no cheese at all or very little. And there isn’t even sausage on all the pieces of pizza. They do remake my pizza when they mess up but the time and gas to go all the way back is on me. But besides that i definately recommend Domino’s for food on the run. Just make sure to check it before you leave the restaurant.“

“We are from Lake Oswego Oregon, and Palm Springs California and I wish we had this restaurant in our neighborhoods. Everything about this restaurant is sublime. Be careful with the bread, I could make a meal out of it with a glass of wine. Max our server was has attentive as he was last year. He took great care of us. What is most surprising is the fabulous food at such a reasonable price. Haven't experienced that in very many restaurants lately. Keep up the excellent work!
