Had reservations- even confirmed with Open Table the day before, but when I showed up with my wife for a birthday dinner there was a note on the door that said they were closed permanently. Not good folks! The least Dockside Bistro or Open Table could have done is keep us in the loop. And now, three days later, I get this email from Open Table asking me to rate the service. Thanks for nothing.

Dockside used to have great food and good service. Our visit this time was not very good at all. There must have been a large group in another part of the restaurant, but seemed like diners in the main area were being ignored/forgotten. Drinks came out late; salad/apps took sooo long; main course took FOREVER! Scallops dish was nothing substantial to describe; fish didn't appear/taste to be cooked thoroughly. Berry Crisp dessert was nothing more than toasted granola w dried fruit and scoop of ice cream on top. Not sure what the bread pudding was, but was NOT bread pudding! Maybe, a carrot cake?? Too many items on menu were not available. Very disappointing experience.

Excellent seafood and fish. One of our favorite restaurants for special occasions. Love the ambiance, the view of the inlet right beside the water, the excellent menu choices and especially the fish and seafood.

Dockside Bistro has fallen significantly since new ownership took over. Salads were fine but the entrees were not eatable. Crisp was a bunch of oats on some berries topped by two scoops of ice cream. Terrible. We used to go there a lot but will not go back again. Also takes forever to get the food from the kitchen. Not a good experience.

This is a sensational, small, upscale, intimate dining experience. The menu options are varied and all interesting. The dinner presentations are awesome. And the service is personal, but not intrusive. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and quiet. Every table has a view overlooking the Olympia boat harbor. We will be back!

As soon as I walked in I suspected chaos. Too many staff and not enough customers.
My meal was luke warm to be generous however my wife’s meal of cod was excellent.
Nice location but consider the reviews before mine before booking.

Great service and staff, but the food is no where near being worth $240. It took 1 hr for dinner to arrive. Steak was under cooked, and luke warm. Crab dip was bland, and potato’s were mediocre. Great location and wine.

Ambience is outstanding: see the boats, watch people go by on the dock. Also, it's quiet, so that one can actually talk with one's dining companions. Food was excellent and the service friendly and attentive.

The Food use to be better, so I was a little disappointed. The seafood martini appetizer sauce was broken, seafood was overcooked and of course the portion was smaller. Ordered a Cesar salad with crab but they were out of crab and the dressing was thick and tasteless. The lamb chops were good but it came with whole potatoes and the sauce was extremely thick. The sorbet was icy tasted old but the crème brûlée was delicious.

Lovely spot for Mother's Day brunch. Food was delicious. And our waiter, Elias, was a delight.

Maybe too busy for a Friday Evening? We have been here before, and it's been Solid. Last Friday night, service was very slow, and my wife's fish was oversalted. It took 30 minutes to get our desert, we figured it was fresh baked chocolate cake, It wasn't. Was a total of 2:45 mins

Very beautiful view, especially at and around sunset... Also great location to people-watch and walk the strip yourself... Food was decent, smaller portion sizes. There were no oysters or mussels even though advertised and no substitute items to replace, but an overall decent experience

The food was overpriced and disappointing. Such a shame it's gone down hill in the past few years.

The food took over an hour to be served. The scallops were overcooked in some spots and slimy in others and very small. They were barely the size of a quarter. The potato cake was greasy. The ship and crab cake appetizer, the crab cake was dry and the shrimp was over cooked. I would not eat here again.

The meal started off well but quickly went downhill. Appetizers were good, chowder was terrific. However the delay between each course was unacceptably long. At least 30 min between each course, no staff attention and the main courses weren't salted at all. There are many better options along the same waterfront. Do yourself a favor and try someplace else.
