“My Mom and I attended the Wine Paired Dinner there for Valentine's Day. The experience was lovely. I loved sitting at a table with people I didn't know. It really gives you the chance to mingle and meet new people. In a world of social media and cell phones it just seems like such a refreshing change. As we were all bonding over fine dining food and wine each person showed general interest in getting to know about each other. I was so excited to share with them that I plan on attending SPSCC culinary program in the fall. Cooking/ creating masterpieces of culinary artwork is my passion, my dream. Every bit of me wanted to be on the other side of those kitchen doors. I wanted to help. I wanted to create. I looked at these student chefs and their instructor extraordinaire, Scott McLean, like celebrities. I felt giddy inside. This will be me one day. I'm going to be a gourmet chef! I savoured every bite of food and made each bite an experience. I took in the presentation, the smell, the flavor... after all... when you love food and feeding people you want to make it memorable! I can't wait to be on the other side of this experience. Until then I will attend as many Wine Paired dinners as I can!“
