Service was friendly and the food was fresh, but the kimchi bibimbap lacked flavor. The buchimgae, however, was delicious. The side dishes were amazing.

Nice little Korean food spot in downtown Olympia. Got the spicy pork bulgogi and the taste was absolutely amazing. Truly brought back memories of being in South Korea and eating amazing pork bulgogi. Great atmosphere and service.Food: 4/5

Our absolute FAVORITE korean restaurant. We live an hour away and will make the trip if we are craving it. Depending how busy it is, you will probably be waiting awhile for service, etc. but that's because it is usually one older lady who is basically the hostess, server, busser, etc and usually one other older lady and gentlemen in the kitchen. If your server isn't an older aunty with no patience, then it's probably not a good Korean restaurant. I always get the buddae jiggae, my sisters usually get the tteokbokki, bibimbap, soonduboo jiggae and we always pay extra to leave with an extra to-go container of the cucumber kimchi.

As we walked in we almost walked out, this was a Friday night, about 7, no people in the restaurant. No alcohol. We decided to give it a try. Let's say upfront that the atmosphere needs improvement, it's dead quiet in there, the walls need paint. That all said the food was ample and delicious, and served in a " Hotstone" our service was a sweet woman. After a time the place began to fill. After dinner we went to the bar next door to curb our cravings and was told by several regulars that Hotstone was the bomb......who knew?

It was busy when I went and there was only one woman working front of house but, she was hilarious and the food was OUTSTANDING. The kimchi made me melt and the chicken bulgogi was so perfectly marinated. Big fan.

So far, I have had 3 different spicy pork dishes including the tofu soup. I could bathe in the pork tofu soup. It was the most delicious and spicy combo I've ever had. Pho has historically been my go-to when I don't feel well but this spicy tofu soup is a serious scale up from Pho.

If you don't want an angry mean lady to serve you then you will not enjoy this place. Not my fault that she can't speak or understand English and her go to is to be rude when I was seriously trying hard to understand and be patient when the order was wrong and ingredients were missing.

This place was really good! We were the only customers there and the food came out shortly after (~20 minutes). We ordered: - Korean fried chicken - C.1. Bulgogi beef and tofu soup (beef)(Combo) - Dduk bokki We liked the dduk bokki/tteok-bokki and Korean fried chicken, they were SO good. Large portions so we had to take them home. The Korean fried chicken came with about 6-8 wings and they weren't spicey at all. They were sweet, savory, and crispy. The dduk bokki was slightly spicey but definitely bearable. C.1 (Combo meal) was ok, even though the price for two sounded better than just ordering bulgogi, we should've done that instead as the tofu soup was lacking flavor. Also, the only side dishes we enjoyed were the cucumber and the kimchi. All of the sides were vegetables unfortunately. Our total came to about $60-66. However, we will definitely come here again!!

Food was okay except a bit too salty. Service was bad due to only one lady serving all customers.

Went here last night on a whim because I was craving some Korean food. This is a new favorite place! I got the pork tofu soup and it was exceptional. Can't wait to eat here again.

Took a motorcycle ride with a friend downtown Olympia and came across this Gem on 4th of July when everything else was closed. It was very classic inside and great customer service. The food was so good and really tasted the freshness or the ingredients! I am definitely coming back :)

Missing authentic Korean food from back home. Came here and wasn't disappointed. Great service! The food was a little on the sweet side from what we make at home. But still great!

I was in downtown Olympia and saw this place, so I decided to try it. I only wish they had been open when I worked downtown! My wife and I split an order of bulgogi. The amount of food was incredible - we left with some leftovers. The bulgogi had very good flavoring to it and was nice and tender. They also provided side of kimchi, kimchi-marinated cucumbers, broccoli and bean sprouts (as well as rice). Everything was very good. I loved the flavor on their kimchi - my wife said it was too hot for her but I thought it had a great mix of flavor and heat. We also ordered a side of fried rolls - they were amazing as well. They came with a sweet chili sauce that paired very well. I will probably go back to try their spicy bulgogi (since I love spicy food but my wife doesn't). I will update this review once I have that opportunity.

I absolutely adore Korean food- as in well rounded, varied, traditional, robust menus that exemplify the kaleidoscope of Korean fare. My partner though prefers Korean food in the form of AYCE Korean bbq. Suffice to say, I was very excited to try this spot in Olympia! The everything was delightful and came out with surprising speed! The banchan wasn't as impressive as it probably could be, especially compared to other spots in California we have been, but it didn't matter because we were too busy with our entrees. Our general "family style" order has always been a meat fish, a starch, and a vegetable. We went off course a little bit by ordering the beef bulgogi, fried rice, and tofu soup with dumplings. Usually I'm a big ole carbo gal with my sights set on the rice and noodles, but I'd leave them all behind to slurp that tofu soup every day. It was rich and creamy and spicy and filled me up in the most satisfying way. It was an evening of serious over indulgence and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
