Food is fantastic. Service can be a a bit slow if they're busy but it is a small business cooperative that offers some of the most consistent breakfast in town so be patient.

Based on the numerous excellent reviews, a friend and I tried this place today. The atmosphere, inside and out, wasn't the best. There were homeless people camped out in the doorway to the building directly to the right of the restaurant.

I had the Amsterdam omelet with toast and hashbrowns. The hash browns were seasoned, but they were extremely greasy. The toast was also covered in melted butter, so also very greasy. The omelet only had avocado and cheese in one half of it for some reason. Also, the "caramelized onions" weren't caramelized at all. They were just sautéed until translucent.

When we approached the counter to pay, I could see into the kitchen and it made my skin crawl. It looked very dingy and dirty.

I'm not sure what the hype is about with this place, but I'd definitely recommend going somewhere else. We won't be back.

i am so glad we chose this place. so happy it's employee-owned too. we were looking for breakfast on my partner's birthday during our little stay in olympia. our waitress was so kind and got us in quick despite how busy it was. i asked for another mimosa and they said "absolutely" and even gussied it up for me with blackberries and an orange ☺️ also the best eggs benedict i've ever had in my life! thank you for making my first visit to WA so memorable and warm.

Vegetarian options: They had a veggie eggs benedict from what I remember.

Interesting little place. Walking into the restaurant we had to weave through some homeless people malingering in front of the restaurant. The outside smell of urine and cigarette smoke wasn’t very pleasant either. Inside the restaurant is very small so when sitting down you will likely sit next to some more homeless people that are napping, at least that’s what we experienced. It’s also VERY dirty inside! There were bug flying everywhere, the walls are dirty, everything hanging in the walls is dirty, there are cob webs EVERYWHERE. Even the air purifier is covered in some black substance. The food was mediocre.

Absolutely wonderful food. Really nice server. The Amsterdam Omelette was amazing. Compliments to the cook working today. Sourdough was fresh. Bacon was just right. Vibe is very Olympia(progressive). I look forward to returning for Dine In. It's small but really cozy and has good ambience.A little spendy but it is 2024. Definitely a place worth trying.

One of my favorite spots in Olympia. Excellent meat and plant-based options, classic choices and fun specials, and community-oriented. Very small indoor space so I usually get takeout and enjoy it at a park.

I had the biscuits and gravy and while the gravy was good the biscuits were flat and kinda dry. Neither my boyfriend nor I cared for the hashbrowns, which were shredded too thin, greasy, and overcooked. Not sure if we'll give it another try...

10/10 Breakfast options and taste. I've worked in the restreaunt industry 10+ years and this is quality craftsmanship and exploration of flavors. I can tell the folks here work hard on the flavors of the recipes and I wish I lived in the area to eat here daily. Handmade, not production style lack of flavor or effort, real special spot. I had a moon sandwich with vegan sausage added, best vegan sausage I've ever tasted. My partner had the sausage moon and loved it, both all handmade.

Tried to go there 2 days in a row. Not open on time the 1st day, and 100% closed the 2nd day because they are "out of materials and have gone shopping".

I've gone here for a couple decades, starting in college, and it's an Oly icon for me! Always delicious, always quick service, and always good vibes!

Terrible service and well known for unsafe food practices. Their inspection reports (publicly available on the Thurston County food safety inspection lookup website) are always a thing of horror. Apparently it’s very difficult to enforce things like handwashing or proper temperatures for storing food when all workers are also co-owners of the collective. There are better options in town. Stay away for the sake of your mental and physical health.

Excellent brunch. I got the veggie scramble with fruit and an English muffin. Lots of vegetarian options.

Service was quick, there's usually a wait list.

A cool thing about this restaurant is it's a co-op. The workers own it and run it.

Parking can be a challenge but it wasn't bad. You can bring kids. It's a little tight for accessibility but all on one level.

My husband and I were so excited to try this place with the knowledge it's a very small cafe with high traffic as it seems to be a beloved part of Oly resulting in higher wait times. We got there the first time around opening time 8-8:30 and they were closed. Tried again a few hours later still closed. Chalked it up to being a small business and maybe had an emergency so we tried again on a different day around 10:30am. We were advised it would be a 20 minute wait and we would have to wait outside due to lack of space. That was fine until the homeless started smoking drugs and unclothing themselves in front of us. After 30 minutes of harassment we asked how much longer the wait would be, they said they didnt know could be 10 minutes could be another 30. We were a little annoyed but knew going that wait times are higher and we weren't in a hurry, we asked if they had a text system to let us know our table is ready so we could walk the block and they rolled their eyes said no and that if we weren't outside when they called for us someone else would get our table. Waited another 35 minutes, over an hour in total before we were seated. Ordered our drinks, waited 15 minutes for drinks. Finally got to ordering our food, Eggs Benny and the Little A. It was then and only then did the server tell us they are completely out of Eggs. . . We waited over an hour and they had multiple opportunities to pop outside and let us know the MAIN INGREDIENT used for the majority of their dishes wasn't available. We asked what our options were and they said anything on vegan menu...We were hangery at this point paid for our drinks and left. What. A. JOKE. No apologies, no consideration, literally no customer service to be found at this place
