Island Skillet Reviews
Had a terrible experience here with employee Rob. The other employees were super sweet and we feel bad for them. We were told the wait would be 15-20 and then at 35 min in Rob was super rude and flippant to us when we simply asked how much longer the wait would be. Rob should not be in front of house working with customers - he’s losing you customers. We left and will not be back unless we hear the customer service is improved.
Great breakfast- good service- good coffee- clean-

Island Skillet is a cozy and inviting restaurant with islander vibes, both indoors and outdoors, including wheelchair accessible entry and seating. It is known as a great place for breakfast with locals, especially during the summer when guests are encouraged to arrive early. The breakfast burritos are a popular choice, known for their generous size and delicious taste, with many guests praising their fillings. Other menu items, like the farmers omelette, have also received positive feedback. The staff is described as super friendly and efficient, creating a relaxed island ambiance that feels warm and welcoming. Visitors appreciate the diner-like atmosphere, where the service and food consistently impress. Island Skillet has become a favorite spot to dine on Orcas Island, offering organic maple syrup, organic OJ, and a varied menu that satisfies both meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
