“I have heard rave reviews from the church gals about this restaurant and have been meaning to try it. And who knows quaint eateries better than retired, lunching ladies? So when my folks were visiting for a week we ventured over. We had a group of 5 and called to make a reservation. I am so glad we did because for noon on a Wednesday the place was bustling! The day we went happened to be cold and rainy, which made the cozy ambiance even more satisfying. I ordered a tuna melt that came with chips, a pickle spear, and fruit salad. My parents each ordered the daily special 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup, green salad, and fruit salad for under $15! The portions were generous, the food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and polite. I will definitely be back!“
“Wonderful food and wonderful service. Even though location is different, once inside, it's a great experience. Fresh meat from the butcher. Steaks cooked to perfection! Only concern was the lighting is a little dark for my old eyes trying to read the menu. Wife helped me out!“
“You know I like a place when I mention they are not trying to be anything they are not. This is a burger and fish & chip place. The products they are using are not farm-to-table. But they have got it down--very well--how to put it all together hot, fresh-ish, and for prices you are not used to in 2024. Everything we had was great. C'mon, think about it. This is a place you might rave about, paying twice as much, if it was in a coastal, el touristo town. But here we are 300 clicks inland, huh? It was busy on a Tue lunch. But they still found time to smile while that griddle/fryer is cranking out the bad-good food. We really, really liked this place; and, that is beyond having two ravenous 20-something sons with us, and the frugality factor. Dang it, I want to know what food service provider the are getting their stuff from...“
“We were from the East Coast for a work conference and wanted a good steak. We read reviews of other places and this one caught our eye. This place did not disappoint!! We had a party of two..greeted & seated right away!! Our server was AMAZING!! We both ordered ribeye & were VERY SATISFIED! Tender..flavorful and umm ummm GOOD! Paired with the REAL mashed potatoes!! Amazing!!The green beans were a little more adente' than I liked..but I didn't send it back. Prices were really good!! Our server remembered we were in a hotel & brought back microwaveable friendly containers. Definitely would return & recommend!!“
“Honestly the food is amazing, I had roasted asparagus and brussel sprouts with a medium 14oz ny strip steak that was to die for. The customer service was phenominal. The lady who served me and my Wife tried saving us money. It was half off wine that night it was $5 more to purches a whole bottle instead of one glass. The waitress also didnt annoy us with constantly asking us how are food was she gave us peace. I normally dont do reviews but this restraunt definitely became one of my favorites. The atmosphere is romantic you have a sense of privacy for the booths are super tall.“
“Having passed Pryor's many times, my wife and I decided to give it a try. This aligns with our desire to support local businesses whenever possible, So, where to begin- how about the decor? You cannot help but be impressed with the array of old items displayed. From handheld tools like saws and scythes, to spears used for fishing, to snowshoes. And so much more! Our server was very nice. She was prompt, and adapted quite well to accommodate my hearing issue. Our food arrived timely, and was quite tasty. We told our server that we would be back. If you have not tried Pryor's, you really ought to. You will not ne disappointed!“
