Chocolate Heaven! Fantastic customer service from all. Bought three diff cookies, pumpkin muffin, six assorted chocolates. All delicious. Bought milk chocolate and dark chocolate mini peanut butter cups. Taste was great but too much chocolate which over powered the peanut butter. My taste buds believe a bit more peanut butter so that the chocolate and peanut butter flavors would be more balanced.
I’ve enjoyed ChocMo in the past, especially their chocolate coffees, and their pastries are absolutely FANTASTIC. But I recently went there and I was craving a matcha latte. I asked if they hand whisked their matcha and they said yes. The baristas proceeded to whisk the matcha powder into 16 oz of ice cold milk with a metal baking whisk and then a frother. There were chuncks of tea in the drink and it was incredibly pale and diluted. I’ve attached a picture...
Came to ChocMo for some post lunch coffee, (especially after seeing the photos of mocha posted on Google maps). What we got was actually completely different from those photos. While the mocha flavor was decent, the texture and the overall preparation were quite off. It was more like a cappuccino consistency made from an automated machine than a real espresso latte.
The service was quite good, and the staff were courteous. The seating was also very comfortable....
