But the main reason this place deserves 5 stars is because of their employee Jax. Super friendly, patient, and had amazing energy the whole time. You can tell he actually cares about customers and makes the experience way better. Employees like Jax are the reason people come back. Give this man a raise fr. Easily a 10/10 experience.”

“My family loves Masala Melody. We frequent pretty often. My daughter says it has got to be her favorite restaurant. It’s very flavorful food. I believe portion size is perfect. Our favorite is the butter chicken. The owners are very nice. Overall just a great restaurant to have here in Maple Valley. We couldn’t be more happier it’s here.”

Something happens to me when I eat food this good, my mind relaxes as I eat and I start to feel like I'm floating.

The Benne dosa was other worldly. The richness of the buttery dosa was divine. The vegetable Manchurian with gravy knocked my socks off. The potato filling of the dosa mixed with the texture of the vegetable balls in gravy was reminiscent of the classic American meat and potatoes meal, but with superb balance of spices and attention to healthiness.

The ambience is no frills, low maintenance and PERFECT. I was focussed on my meal so I didn't even notice if there was art on the walls, there didn't need to be. The art was on the plate right in front of me.

The portions were good, the price was fair, we didn't feel like we'd been gauged which seems to be a common practice these days. We appreciated that.

“In a city full of coffee shops it’s hard to stand out and this one this really manages to do it. Their standard drinks are solid. I usually just get a latte or a dirty chai. If I’m feeling saucy I get the evergreen energy drink which is excellent. They have a creative menu that’s fun for those that like the more sugary stuff. The rotating monthly menu of themed drinks is borderline psychotic, but I mean that in the best way. I can’t wait to see what kind of insanity they come up with. I usually just make coffee at home, but every other week when my kids have dance in the same complex we leave early specifically to build an RVC run into the schedule.”

“We stopped in yesterday. As road trippers from Delaware, we are always visiting local places when we can. Big Block is one of our favorite we have ever been to, and we have been to local breweries in 43 states. The presentation was great, the flight boxes are freaking awesome. The awesome woman behind the bar was one of the most personable, friendly, and knowledgeable bar specialists we have ever encountered. The beer was excellent. I particularly loved the Special Bitter. If you are anywhere near these amazing folks, do yourself a favor and STOP IN.”
