“As an avid cake lover, I have cherished memories of Hoffman's Fine Cakes and Pastries. Back in the day, every special occasion was celebrated with their delectable treats. From birthdays to anniversaries, their cakes were the centerpiece of our joyous moments. Now, living in a different country, I find myself reminiscing about those delightful flavors. The Princess Torte, with its layers of sponge cake, whipped cream, and marzipan, still dances on my taste buds. And who could forget the rich Chocolate Torte Cake or the delicate Lemon Chiffon Cake? Hoffman's commitment to quality shines through in every bite. Locally sourced ingredients, sustainably farmed whenever possible, ensure that their creations are nothing short of perfection. The staff's friendly service and the cozy ambiance added to the overall experience. If you're ever in Redmond, Washington, don't miss the chance to visit Hoffman's Fine Cakes and Pastries. Trust me—you won't be disappointed!“

“Wonderful place to work, as well as the sandwiches are very good. The cakes can sometimes be a bit too heavy, but the chocolate raspberry delice is a good balance and the eclairs are very good. The croissants are all very good. There is constant revising of pastries and often new ones to try with every season. It can get a little noisy and busy on the weekends, since there are only two registers, but it usually calms down more after around 1 pm on those days.
Vegetarian options: Croissant wise, there aren't too many savory vegetarian options, and they sell out fast on the weekends, but what there is all very tasty. All the cakes are vegetarian, and sweet croissants as well. There are no vegan opinions however.
Dietary restrictions: No vegan Options
Kid-friendliness: This bakery is located right by a kids swimming center so there are often a lot of kids with their parents at this bakery. A lot of the staff are also parents and are especially kind to children.“

“Matcha Lover's Dream!
The matcha croissant here is absolutely divine! I arrived a bit early and had to wait for them to be fresh, but it was worth it. The latte was also excellent. If you're a matcha fan, this is a must-try!“

“This is a hidden gem - a true European bakery led by a Cordon Blue certified patisserie. From the fresh baguettes, rye to the Napoleons and Ein Berliner filed with crème brûlée - it is all delicious. GMO ingredients, true homemade yeast and a lovely owner. I kind of fell upon this place accidentally and so glad I did!
Note: this is a new business. The older reviews are from another owner.“

“I got a 12 oz latte and a salmon crepe.
I was somewhat disappointed with the latte. It was rather bitter and while the mug might have been a 12 oz one, it was rather far from being filled. I think more milk would have helped on both fronts.
The crepe itself was pretty good. There was a decent amount of salmon in it. However, the tomato chunks were so big and numerous, that they overwhelmed the taste, made the crepe a bit soggy, and also rapidly cooled it down. The plate could have also been bigger - the food barely fit on it, so eating was a bit annoying.
Service was very friendly and quick with the orders. Great job!
The café itself was spacious and pretty quiet with no TVs, which is great. There's also plenty of space between the tables, so it should be easy to navigate with a wheelchair. It could use a bit of renovation, though. The wide open space where you can see and hear everything happening in the kitchen makes it uncozy. The vibe is closer to a student cafeteria, than a quiet café.
Considering the above, the price/quality ratio could be better in my opinion.
Parking: There's plenty of free parking spaces in the library parking across the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and the whole restaurant is flat with plenty of space between the tables.“

“The ambiance was delightful, and the staff were friendly. The pastries, especially the custard bun and breads, were fresh and enjoyable. However, it's important to mention that the overall experience leans towards the expensive side. While the pastries are delightful, their slightly higher cost might be a factor to consider, particularly for those on a budget.“

“Great items for buying bakery items with very good rates.
Bad coffee though (I only got a latte) - and don’t go there for the cafe vibe. No good seating available to relax and drink your coffee in peace. Which is a shame because 85 degrees is supposed to be a coffee centric name.“

“I LOVED the cereal milk soft serve. It's slightly toasty, salty and not overly sweet. Very unique and, in my opinion, delicious! I didn't add any toppings and didn't think it needed any. That being said, my husband did NOT like it at all, so it's not for everyone.“
