“We ordered a Candy Cane Cake and Apple Pie for Christmas Eve dinner. The cake was FANTASTIC! and an absolute HIT with the whole family. The apple pie was thee best apple pie I ever had. I can't believe ever buying a cake (or pie!) anywhere else, especially for special occasions. I also grabbed a container of assorted Christmas cookies, and they were perfect.“
“Such a cool hidden gem in Burien! I got a slice of cheesecake and a slice of the pistacchio as well. Total of $19.08. A little pricey but the quality is really good and they have a good selection. The staff is very friendly and it is in a cool building with glass window hole in the floor so you can see what is going on beneath in the bakery. A cool place so if you are in the area (say to have the best spaghetti and meatballs at Vince's Italian, right around the corner), then stop in here after.“
“DELICIOUS! Right in the heart of the pike place market is this amazing bakery/coffee shop. They have such amazing croissants & other pastries. They’re very tasteful. The staff is so helpful! One in particular person that helped us we forgot his name but had tattoos on his arms. Gave great recommendations, very pleasant attitude. The coffee is everything you’d expect from being in the coffee capital! Prices are super fair and it’s very accessible to people in wheelchairs. Parking was tough Ofcourse by being in the middle of the market it’s hard to find any spots available. The environment inside was so elegant and clean. Very quick service. This is a must try.“
“So, although Michelle and Jay are my friends, I gave this a 5-star review because the service, food, atmosphere, and the constant line that kept Michelle having to pause our conversations to help the barista was proof that this is a well-liked shop. To top it off, I tried something I NEVER would have eaten before. I had the Harvest Squash bread. And I was nervous, but it was sooooo ???! I had it warmed up, too. So it was extra fire!I live in Portland, so I can’t frequent this place like I want to. But please believe, if I lived up here, I would most definitely host all my work meetings here. If you’re in the Seattle area, you HAVE TO stop by here!“
“I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me some almond croissants when he was visiting. I got pastries here years ago, and I had forgotten how large and flavorful they were. There's a nice crust on top and just the right amount of marzipan. Again, the croissants are huge. Definitely reheat them in the oven before consuming!“
“I can't believe this gem was only 15 mins away from me the entire time I've lived in Washington. My daughter and I stumbled in last Saturday and ordered essentially one of everything. The cupcakes were delicious. I will definitely come back for birthday cakes because their designs were beautiful and very affordable.“
“Stopped by early in the day for pre hike pastries. I got the spinach feta pastry, blackberry cream cheese danish and Kringle slice. Everything was fresh and pretty delicious. I got things warmed up. I usually don't like almond forward pastries as I don't like the almond essence flavour. But that was really not the case here where almond was subtle and more in texture. Overall pastries were a little on the sweeter side for me but I can see why this place is famous.“
“The best thing that can happen in life is when you unexpectedly bumped into a French bakery and the food was SO good! I was immediately cheered up by the delicate and exquisite cakes offered by La Parisienne during a cold and cloudy day in Seattle. It is definitely not cheap ($9.75 for the Tarte au Chocolat) but I felt so worth it because it took so much skills and dedication to make such great desserts! Everyone working there were super friendly and actually some of them are French. We sat by the window and it was a very relaxing and tasty experience.“
“Our order from Hunny Do was executed superbly. The dinosaur pops we requested turned out more adorable and tastier than I had imagined. The details were so well done that it was almost a shame to eat them—almost. The owner was great at communication and highly professional. We will be ordering from them again, just need to think about what delicious combination to go with next time.“
“Very cute little cafe with beautiful looking pastries. Seating is limited so just be aware! By the time we arrived in the late afternoon, there weren't many pastry choices left but we did enjoy the chocolate hazelnut croissant and crème brûlée that we ordered. Prices are on the high side (some cost almost $10!) but they do offer high quality so I'd be ok to splurge every now and then. Not a cafe that I can frequent often because of the high price point though. Will be back to try the other pastries in future, especially that matcha croissant that I've heard people rave about.“
“The CATE (croissant, avocado, tomato, egg) is one of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. Served warm, the yolk is soft, sometimes slightly runny. If they happen to be out, though, I go elsewhere. For me, none of the other breakfast options hold a candle to this one.“
“Classic hong kong pastry shop They have whole cakes and cake slices ready for purchase day of, but I've also ordered customized cakes from them. The value for what you get is great, especially their breads. For more money you can get similar items from 85 degrees or tous les jours, but they're way smaller than the ones here. I thought the breads were soft and fluffy, the crunchy top on both were good too. The cake is a standard asian cake, not too sweet and light. Excited to come back and try their other items!“
“This location is a busy storefront with active bakery in the back. Very bright, clean, with great service staff. I always have to try a chocolate croissant at new places and this one was amazing. Buttery and flakey with the right amount of chocolate. Washed that down with a nice latte. I also had the Carne Sandwich which was very fresh and smelled great. Had a nice balance of flavors with a tiny amount of heat. Of course it was on a bun that was freshly baked and it was the perfect vessel for the sandwich.“
“Don't like the cakes but love the pastries. The black forest cake with ? is a no for me. Not sure if it's because It was close time and the cakes weren't as good. But I have been going here for years and love love the tiramisu cake, pastries and the meat and cheese pastries. Their bread is also pretty good.“
“Fuji bakery's strawberry shortcake is my favourite dessert in the WORLD so my husband and I ordered it for our wedding two weeks ago as a cutting cake. Susien was so wonderful and gave me so much good advice as I tried to decide what size cake I wanted and how I wanted it to look. The final cake was gorgeous and delicious and the perfect wedding cake for“
“We were super impressed:The chocolate croissant/pain au chocolat was really delicious and fresh— the interior was creamy but exterior flaky. They have mini pies which are soooo good. We got the strawberry rhubarb and loved it.Their Gougere was awesome + the bread was also good.Highly recommend!“
“I am not even joking, the Maple filled donut is probably the best donut I have ever had. I felt like I was in heaven. The cream isn't too sweet, it had a bit of a runny consistency and it was so cold. The maple melted in my mouth and gave it this delicious sweetness. I will think about this donut for the rest of my life.“
“Great place for a small bite - they have a HUGE range of options, that your biggest problem is going to be making a choice. We got a blueberry scone and a savory swirl which were both delicious. Not a fan of their cappuccino or the mocha however.. this is also a good place to get a bit of work done too, even though it gets crowded, it doesn’t get loud. The wait for coffee does get quite long (we waited 15mins) on the weekend.Parking: A few spots in a lot right outside the bakery, but otherwise everything is street parking“
“I stopped by here around 10am on Friday and a lot of pastries were already sold out (or they were working on a new batch, not sure). I got 3 pastries for around $18, which was slightly pricey since the pastries were a bit small, but it's still within reason. The cream puff was so good: crispy exterior, creamy interior with milky cream. But my favorite was definitely the passion fruit pound cake with lychee matcha glaze. The pound cake was cakey and paired amazingly with the fruity glaze. I've never had a lychee glaze before so I really liked this cake. I also got the lemon pistachio gateau basque which was flaky, lemony, and had a hint of pistachio, but was a bit flavorless and hard to finish for me. All in all, I like the variety of pastries they had and would definitely come back to try more!“
“Coming here is like a little gift to yourself. This little bakery in the Crossroads mall is a hidden gem. The fresh strawberry milk was one of the best I've ever had. Hand made on the spot, it was the perfect level of sweetness. I paired that with the moist strawberry roll cake and felt like a kid again. The service was polite and you can tell he pays attention to his craft. Came on a busy Friday night in the mall and took in a free show put on by an accordion troupe. Give yourself a treat and come here.“
“Every treat and interaction I’ve had with this business has been phenomenal! The cupcakes and cookies are the perfect balance of sweetness. My kiddos love the special toppings—bright sprinkles, gummy bears, and vanilla sandwich cookies! And I am grateful for so many delicious vegan and nut free treats! This is my go-to shop for treats and special occasions. Also, the new location on Meeker looks superb!“
“My family is Salvadoran and it's hard to find truly Salvadoran shops, restaurants and bakeries and I'm happy to share that you can find all here. AND the food was authentic, with rich flavors, fresh and DELICIOUS! My mom will approve! They have a freezer full of hard to find Salvadoran treats, a refrigerator full of creams, cheeses and drinks, snacks and authentic seasonings. The baked goods were tasty, and not overly sweet, offering traditional pastries, cookies, cakes and desserts. Their pan Frances was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They had tres leches, too, which I'm not a fan of because it tends to be too sweet, messy, and soaked to fall apart but I tried my son's and surprisingly it was none of that.We ordered pupusas (de queso and queso and beans) and they were palm size with a good filling size. Their curtido and sauce was ok. I ordered the platanos fritos plate (frijoles, crema, pan francés, chorizo Salvadoran) and it was a full-size platano cut in half, the beans were creamy and and flavorful. The order was enough for me to take home.We ate and brought home a lot for later. The staff was super helpful and friendly willing to take special requests. We will definitely be returning!“
“Such a cute cafe in a street with a ton of other cute little cafes! Service was fast, my pastry and drink were finished in about 5 minutes it less. The seating is quite difficult to finds since it was a bit crowded at ~10am on a Saturday, but luckily i found a small table to vibe on for a bit. Would recommend dropping by for the european cafe vibes!“
“I'm literally addicted to their version of Divinity. Big, melt in your mouth, powdered sugar goodness. It's actually closer to an Italian Whipped Shortbread than the super sugary sweet divinity candy. I've been trying for 20 years to duplicate the recipe unsuccessfully. Whenever I head to the market, I have to bring a dozen of these yummy goodies home with me.“
