Regent Bakery & Cafe Reviews
I hated it. The service there is horrible. The staff are rude and irresponsible. They ruined our cake and didn’t even attempt to fix their mistakes. Will not be going back. Would not recommend going there at all.
This is an establishment that has no tolerance for small children. The Chinese lady yelled at my two year old for smacking the table. Another patron stuck up for my son and actually yelled at the owner. Thank goodness because I was too shocked to do anything.
Update: 3 months later, a neighbor told me she stopped in with her 4 year old and also felt unwelcome by the older Asian woman/owner.
Best everything ever! Jokes aside their bubble teas are top notch and their pastries are fresher than other bakeries! I love the fact that nothing is overly sweet. Except for Steve.
Menu
Regent Bakery & Cafe offers a variety of delicious, light, and moist pastries and cakes that are not overly sweet. Customers have been regulars for years, never getting tired of the same treats. The bakery also serves flavorful cakes, with the taro cake being a popular choice. Their fruit vanilla cake is visually appealing and perfect for special occasions like birthdays. Customers praise the Asian style cakes for melting in the mouth and being not too sweet, making them ideal for treats or celebrations. The bakery's turnaround is always on time, and the staff are very communicative, ensuring that special orders like wedding cakes arrive perfectly. The bakery's bread and buns, especially the curry bun, are fresh and tasty, with the Char Siu Bao and Gai Mei Bao being favorites. Visitors also enjoy seasonal handmade items like New Years cakes and Moon cakes during Chinese holidays. While some find the prices to be on the pricier side and have noted a change in the Dan Tat crust, overall, the cakes and breads are consistently fresh, beautiful, and delicious.
