New business at this location named Yummy Kitchen. Asked for 2 orders of vegetable fried rice. Was charged for beef/shrimp fried rice at $12 each. Asked for no onions on 1 order. I was told it would take too long to cook them separate. I accepted both orders without onions. Not even busy...

UPDATE - No longer in business. Has been replaced by a Korean Hawaiian Fusion restaurant. The old Asia Ginger was bomb though. Best place for fast Chinese in the area before it closed.

This falls into our long-time preference for eating "locally" (or at least not a national chain.) Asia Ginger Teriyaki calls itself "Japans Cuisine #5" and provides very low frills, high flavor lunch. Open M-F 10:30 to 3:30, their Yaki Soba was big enough for two of us to share, so not only super tasty but pretty cheap. Eat in or carry out. The lady serving the food was super friendly.

Visited here and liked the food to go. Chicken teriyaki is very basic, just chicken and rice. For more zest and flavor would recommend the Chicken Yakisoba it way more delicious and less bland with lots of veggies and better tasting sauce. Was satisfied with the food quality, quantity, and taste As for the customer service it was great. Maybe a little more speed would be preferred as I ordered on a Saturday morning when the shop was empty for 5 peoples takeout. The lady assisting me was very pleasant and kind she recommended the chicken teriyaki to me actually I just wish it hadn't been soo Came here again with my mom and sister and sat inside to dine which was a much better experience than before! I loved the spicy chicken teriyaki it was really juicy and tender just the right amount of spice I ordered a 3 which is how I prefer my food with a little bit of a kick to it. Yummmm. The woman gave us complimentary miso soup it was really delicious and creamy not light and soupy if that makes sense ahaha. Ordered the fried rice instead of the regular rice which had more flavor to it just the peas and carrots were a little to stale too they seemed liked the packaged ones but it's fine didn't mind that too much. I will insert pics of everything we ordered. The Asian woman who owns this restaurant is a great hostess and owner. She did try to up sell her skin care which she also owns by saying my mom and sister and I have nice skin aha! Overall good food chill little place to eat I like itttt.

Love this place! Been coming for 4 years! Best General Taos. Good servings for a good price!

Very clean and pleasant place. Food is very good for a Teriyaki restaurant. Price is fair for this area. Service is always great. I like their curry dishes. Yakisoba is also nice (better than a lot of other Teriyaki places I know of). This is my go to place for a quick, reasonably priced Teriyaki restaurant in this area.

I like their Spicy Teriyaki! It's large enough for two full adult women to share for a full lunch!

Made a call at a wrong location on accident since there are multiple locations of “Ginger Teriyaki” in Renton and received a call back from the store from a very rude woman around close Wednesday 6/19. She refused to give me her name after calling my phone 3 times to be rude after I had already apologized for making the order to the wrong location and hanging up on me and being rude. Take some customer service 101 and don't harass people thanks. Would be happy to hear back from management.

Well I definitely won't be a customer anymore as I had been before. Maybe you guys should make sure you don't have the same name as 3 other teriyaki joints in Renton and you wouldn't have so many problems with this like apparently you did since you felt the need to put your company name at stake and call me just to scold me. I assumed you were apart of the same company since you had the same name in the same city. And no I didn't answer I called back because I was gone replacing my order at the not rude ginger teriyaki downtown Renton (readers I suggest driving down there) enjoy another one star review then unapologetic and unprofessional coowner, you've earned it. I feel bad for your business partner. Maybe think twice before calling the next person and accusing them of making multiple calls and “dining and dashing” and definitely change your name if you want to avoid confusion. A little creativity and not being rude would go a long way. If the other owner wants to talk I'll consider changing my reviews but I have no other dialogue to be had with you.
