We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to @IKEA #ikearenton, especially to the exceptional Renton IKEA Interim Loyalty Manager, Catherine Barnes! Your generous donation of gift baskets to the Norpoint Soccer Club's Annual Fundraising Auction has significantly impacted our program and the youth we serve. Thanks to your support, we can provide local youth with the opportunity to participate in more affordable soccer programs and use new equipment. Your kindness and...read full review
A trip to IKEA is our daughter’s favorite thing to do. It’s always fun to come here as a family. The staff is so helpful and everything runs so smoothly, even the returns (you scan a QR code and get called up to the desk by name). But even though their return area looks very cool and not stressful, we absolutely love everything we’ve bought from this IKEA and haven’t ever had to return anything. Located on the second floor of the IKEA furniture warehouse, the IKEA Restaurant is a cafeteria-style eatery offering a variety of meals at reasonable prices. The famous Swedish meatballs are a must-try, served with mashed potatoes, peas, and gravy. Other options include kids' meals with chicken tenders and mac and cheese, as well as desserts. The restaurant has plenty of seating and amenities, including play areas for younger children and carts for carrying trays. The staff is polite and kind, and the food is delicious, with highlights including the salmon filet with pesto sauce and the garlic bread. Customers also enjoy veggie dogs and plant dogs as a great snack, with vegan condiments and affordable prices. The restaurant is known for spacious parking, a good atmosphere, and an available area for kids to play and have fun. Recent reviews mention that the quality and offerings have declined over the years, with some Swedish specialties no longer available. While the Swedish meatballs are still popular, they are not very authentic, missing some traditional spices and cooking methods. Despite these challenges, the restaurant remains a good spot to take a break while shopping, especially for those seeking a quick, satisfying meal.
