I like this place, across the lake from my work at Boeing, you can even see the aircraft. I really like chowder and fish and chips, I wish the quantity was larger on the fish and chips. Sometimes I order the tanker because my love for clam chowder is pretty insatiable. The park/pier ambience is pretty cool as well.

I have gone to this Ivars location for over 30 years and it was our family’s favorite place to gather until I just recently saw that they added chicken to their menu. This is a seafood place and has always been a safe place we could order anything off the menu. When I asked if they fry the chicken in the same oil as the fish the answer was yes. Unfortunately my family will no longer be dining here. Deeply disappointing.Dietary restrictions: This location has chicken on their menu and admitted to cooking the chicken in the same oil as the fish which is deeply disappointing.

I was sucked in by the pictures. Think fast food from the freezer. The three little pieces of cod were tasty but not worth the charge. Not sure why they ask for a tip for ordering at the counter and taking your tray back yourself. Just spend the money and go elsewhere.

Love having fish and chips on Lake Washington just wish you got more fish for your money. The old Asian guy who works here is a joke and enjoys being a jerk to customers. I'm sorry that you're 100 years old and don't like working in a fast food joint maybe it's time to move on to something else like a Walmart door

I was shocked to learn that they fry their chicken in the same oil as the fish, why does a seafood bar serve chicken in the first place. For someone who can't eat chicken Ivar's was one of the few restaurants that I was able to eat at but not anymore. Very disappointed and never coming back.

<Note - As of mid-summer 2023 they seems to have the fish back on track. To be sure, you can ask them to cook the fish extra long.>They have forgotten how to cook fish. Twice in the last few weeks. The fish fillets that are normally perfect where way under cooked and difficult to eat. Maybe management changed.
