The food was good. We truly believe that Italian food should always have bread included. A nice sourdough would be great. The focaccia with honey is not the same. We went on a Friday so we could enjoy the live music, however we could not hear it from inside and they don't allow reservations for the patio. There were 6 of us so that wasn't going to work. The dining room does have a lovely view of the river. One friend is vegan and they did accommodate him with a pasta...
Outstanding experience, delicious food, excellent service. Sous chef Jimmy personally served our entrees and shared his vision for Riva. We all chose pasta, made in-house. Portion sizes were perfect. Campanella and carbonara were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Arrabiatta (with meatballs) was a bit spicy; no complaints, just eye-opening. Pistachio crème brulee was excellent, and chocolate is in the test stage. Shout out to Nyla, our server, who took great care of us throughout...
Simply outstanding dining experience. Quick get away golf and wine tasting weekend. This new restaurant at The Lodge is a real upgrade. Excellent food, service and wonderful ambiance on the Columbia River. Dinner and Brunch menus have many great options. I highly reccomend Lacey, she is awesome at Riva Italian Kitchen!
