“Well I work at the Brown Shack and I can promise you with complete confidence that non of the employees or the owners would do anything close to what the bad reviews say. I'm not saying the other reviews are wrong. I'm saying that kind of service doesn't exist anymore. We love meeting new people and go out of our way to feed everyone great food. Fast and friendly I promise!! Also, I haven't heard anyone or seen anyone be mistreated for the color of their skin. It just doesn't happen at the Brown Shack. But.... the food still rocks!!“

“A small diner with friendly staff.My dad took me here for breakfast on my first full day visiting him.The meat lovers omlette was delicious. The hash browns were not what I'm used to. They were thicker shreds, and not really that crispy. If I go again, I'll ask for them well done.The customers are what you expect from a small town diner. Good 'Ol Boys talking about what is happening in town as well as their political opinions.There were some merch options (hats and coffee mugs, etc.) Next to the counter.“

“It's a family run restaraunt. The building needs work but everything funtions as it's supposed to. The food is incredible, portions are massive, price is incredible. Dee and her husband make you feel at home and we go as often as we can. We are looking forward to their family style Thanksgiving dinner.“
