As always, the food and service was superb. I'm so sad to see 84 Yesler is closing, but will keep an eye on the executive chef Christina Siegel to see where she lands next. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to speak with Sam, the owner of 84 Yesler. He had such an interesting life and still has some amazing chapters ahead. I wish them both the best of luck in their next endeavors.
Stopped by 84 Yesler for dinner and had a really impressive experience from start to finish. The space has a modern, polished feel but still manages to stay warm and inviting, which makes it great for a relaxed night out. I ordered one of the seasonal entrees and it was beautifully plated, with every component tasting fresh and thoughtfully balanced. The flavors were refined without being overcomplicated, and you can tell there’s real attention to detail in the kitchen....
A must-try when visiting Seattle! Despite running a bit late for our reservation, the staff accommodated us without issue. Every dish was presented beautifully, and we loved being able to see into the open kitchen. The standout of the night was the mussels — absolutely outstanding. Between the warm staff, great ambiance, and convenient location, it was a wonderful dinner all around.
