Had brunch there for the first time today and the coffee was proper and the waffle brisket sandwich unique perfection. The side salad option was made with the freshest greens and just the right amount of dressing. Portion-size was appropriate and sustained me through all my Saturday chores.
We were super bummed when the Fat Hen closed (formerly in this spot), but we finally got to try A Lamb's Quandary and it is so good. Turns out the current owner used to work at the previous restaurant! I love the Korean and Chinese influence in the dishes. The waffles are fantastic, not your typical soft (sometimes too cakey) waffles you get at other breakfast joints. These waffles are super crispy, kind of like if a waffle and a Chinese donut stick (油条)...
Been meaning to review A Lamb's Quandary for a long time... Nelson is a fantastic guy and everyone at the restaurant is extremely friendly - even when we've brought in our toddler not long before closing time, they're extremely accommodating with our stroller, the high chair, and whatever else we need. Also, the food is fantastic!
