My husband and I ate here on May 17, 2026. He got the chicken katsu which was quite good but the rice was mushy. I had the katsu musubi, the rice was also mushy, and the chicken was unfortunately overcooked, and the chicken grain was oriented the wrong direction, making this difficult to eat. Service was quick and good selection of drinks.

This is a Hawaiian restaurant in Uwajima-ya, King Street.
I ordered the combo of teriyaki chicken and kalua pig. The amount is very large; not only rice but also chicken and pork.
Teriyaki is much sweeter than Japanese, but tasty. I'd like more vegetable if possible.

I ordered Shin Ramen with spam and green scallions, it was delicious, cooked to perfection and for surely hit the spot. It tasted like it was cooked with love even if it was ramen and under $10. Not every one im the area prepares their food with love
