The food was okay, but the brunch menu was limited. It felt like cheap dinner food without actually being cheap. Would eat here again if the wait is too long elsewhere, but not my first choice. But since it's not great, there tends to be less of a wait, so that's a benefit.
I had a breakfast plate called the East Coast which is listed on the menu as toast with eggs, smoked salmon, capers, and onions. The salmon was not what I expected, like you'd get on a lox bagel, but looked more like it came from a can. I admit, it may just be me, but I was slightly disappointed.
Overall it was still tasty, but I did end up leaving a bit of the salmon on my plate when I finished.

Americana is one of my favorite brunch places in Seattle! I've been coming to Americana for 10 years and can highly recommend the American Benedict, French toast, and pancakes.
The American Benedict is unique with its potatoe cake base, poached egg, and tomato/mushroom sauce topping. The potatoes cakes are textured and the sauce/egg combo works great together. A unique and delicious take on eggs benedict!
