Amazing first experience dining here; was too hot for soup so skipped those. Had chawanmushi (just a tiny appetizer to whet your appetite), a salad w/apple dressing, 2 sushi rolls (crab, salmon), and fishcake tempura with onion salad (mixed w/mayo which sounds weird but it was delish). You help yourself to water and tea.

Def not an entry level Japanese resto, but recommend it. Knocking a star off atmosphere because it was crazy hot with the door open.
Delicious handmade udon noodles! There are lots of options when it comes to what to have those noodles in. The price may look high but the portion is huge and for handmade noodles and high quality soup and accompanying meats, seafood, or vegetables it’s completely worth it. I love this place. I go here often and the food is exceptional. The chef makes the noodles by hand, the broth is all made in house, and it is the most authentic udon I've ever had. I love this place so much. Thank you for bringing a taste of Japan to Seattle and for putting love into every dish. The portion sizes are massive and it's so great.
