The Udon here is amazing, better than what I had when I was in Japan! The staff who served me were so kind and helpful. I rated 4 stars though because the owner, or manager on site was shouting at the staff in a way thar made everyone in the main seating area look at each other like “are they okay??”. The restaurant seemed really busy and stressed but the workers don’t deserve that sort of treatment.
This is a no frills, yet delicious restaurant. It’s not a fancy establishment, yet the friendly staff, authentic delicious enormous bowls of homemade perfectly cooked just never fail to impress. The portions are ENORMOUS. We made the mistake of ordering two bowls one day and couldn’t finish the bowl. Love their authentic handmade udon noodles. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu! My favorites are jajamen for summer, spicy nasu soup noodle for winter, champon for total indulgence 😁
