I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me some almond croissants when he was visiting. I got pastries here years ago, and I had forgotten how large and flavorful they were. There's a nice crust on top and just the right amount of marzipan. Again, the croissants are huge. Definitely reheat them in the oven before consuming!

ALMOND CROISSANT came here for a snack and it was soo good. Keep in mind I was here 2 years ago and I STILL remember the taste.

Great selection and quality, staff was helpful and friendly. Wish they had seating, but there is a small park across the street.

The bakery items here are top notch. Absolutely beautiful baked goods and chocolates. Everything was delicious. Staff was nice and fairly quick service. No place to eat inside so you have to take out.

Bakery Nouveau was once the best bakery around but now well past its prime. Many of the offerings are excessively dense and sugary. Also, the service is horrible- snobby and impatient staff, no willingness to warm up a sandwich, and no restroom for customers. There are plenty of better bakeries around Seattle.

Assorted pastries (croissants, danishes, etc) we purchased were delicious and fresh. Very busy in a Saturday, but the line went fast. I'd put Bakery Nouveau among my top 3 French bakeries in Seattle. For the custom cake we ordered for a special occasion, the cake was well made, easy to order by phone, and ready on-time for pickup. Most of us loved the cake, filling and buttercream frosting, but a couple people didn't care for the frosting. Nothing against the cake because everyone e has different taste preferences, but I recommend trying out a slice of your preferred cake to make sure it will fit your taste. But the cake will be fresh and d well-made no matter what. A great place for cakes too.

The ham quiche is the best I've ever had. Perfect balance of flavors.

Always appreciated the food here, but service was shockingly bad - staff seemed to be annoyed to be taking food orders at all. I don’t usually expect much in service quality but it certainly is a problem to me if service staff seem to intentionally be rude to its customers.I came in to get a cake late afternoon and asked just a few questions about the cakes since there were no labels. There was no line, and no rush and staff was seemed annoyed that I was asking any questions at all, proceeded to give a very standoffish service quality.

My neighborhood bakery nouveau is the West Seattle location. But this morning, I was near the Capitol Hill location and I decided to get my usual order there. And when I got home and saw my pastries, I instantly knew that was a huge mistake. The quality and presentation of the Kugelhopf and the brown sugar pecan brioche were not the usual quality that I’m used to from Bakery Nouveau. The brioche was very dark on the bottom, but the top was undercooked and doughy tasting. I had to bake it more myself and it still didn’t taste quite right. The Kugelhopf was smashed and very dense and compacted. Not the usual light and airy texture. I don’t know if the two locations are owned by the same company, but the noticeable difference in the quality is pretty shocking. I will never go back to the Capitol Hill location. I feel like I wasted my money and time.

Ordered a mocha chocolate cheesecake from here as a birthday cake. It's small but hefty. Beautifully smooth and decadent. I don't even like coffee but this was wonderful.

Liked this little cute bakery in west Seattle. I was visiting Seattle for a week and this place was recommended as a must visit in west Seattle. I'm glad I did visit this, I ended up going to the bakery more than twice in three days of my stay in west Seattle.

Small bakery with great selection from pastries, breads, sandwiches, quiche, and desserts/sweets.There was a line out the door but it moved quickly and efficiently. Pretty much a takeout place.I got a butter croissant and a couple macaroons. The macaroons had a bit too much filling for me personally, but I’m sure this is a big plus for others who really like them sweet and decadent! The croissant I got was delicious and just as you’d expect a good French croissant to be. I’d love to go back again to try their amazing looking sandwiches or pizza breads.Oh and the yuzu truffle/chocolate thing was amazing!!!!!

Stopped by on a visit to Seattle. I ordered a Kringler (something like a stuffed pastry) and a spinach croissant. They gave me another sweet pastry by mistake which was so so sweet - not my thing; and kind of dry. The spinach croissant was better but quite oily. No seating. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.
