We got lucky with street parking right around the corner but realize had we not found that spot, it probably would have been quite the search. Fun little place with a crazy high noise level. We ordered family style with small plates to share and our server did a nice job letting us know which dishes he would ask the kitchen to add an extra bite to so we could share equally and not have to negotiate who would be left out. Heads up on drinks; there is one white wine and one red wine that are served in a vessel that closely resembles my little cat's water bowl. We ordered a cider and that came in the same 7oz glass for a 12oz price. The mixed drinks were tasty and, in case you're wondering, served in actual drink glasses. The printed menu is supplemented by a specials board that is definitely worth ordering from. We ordered one plate each of arancini and meatballs and highly recommend both. We also had the arugula salad, which was fine, and a butternut squash risotto that used faro instead of pasta. It was warm and comforting. The pizzas are a must! We ordered two and between four people did not have a single leftover piece. We also had cod fritters that we all agreed were a miss. Days later I was still thinking about the arancini and meatballs, so let me drive it home that you have to get them.

I thought it was below average for the price point. Margherita pizza: the crust was ok. On the softer size which I tend to like, but it wasn't my favorite this time. The flavor level of the sauce was very low. I definitely would have preferred more flavor from the sauce. Overall there was also a low level of saltiness, which perhaps was why it just lacked flavor in general. Fried risotto balls: Nice crisp on the outside, but lacked salt and seasoning. The tomato sauce also didn't come through for me. I definitely could have used some extra as dipping sauce to get more flavor and some contrast. I got a side of bread and it was ok. Pretty fresh and nice sourdough flavor, although the crust was bad. It was hard. Not in the sense where it's crispy and gives you a satisfying crunch, it was moreso just thick and hard to chew. I liked the drink I got. It was some sort of Italian soda with a bitter orange and vanilla flavor. It tasted decently good and I appreciate the novelty. The panna cotta was also good. Probably my favorite part of the meal. Very fresh. The service was fine. Nothing noteworthy that I could think of.

Enjoyed our time here. Pizza tasted great, service was good, beer was cold, and the place had a good ambiance. Wait times are a bit longer than normal (always a good sign); suggest reserving your table in advance.Parking is on the street. Finding a spot may require some diligent patrol of surrounding neighborhoods.

This restaurant offers a pleasant dining experience with a simple yet charming ambiance. The spacious layout keeps the noise level down, and the service is speedy and welcoming. They offer outside menu options on a board. Like cod fritters, different cocktails. The cod fritters were a standout, reminiscent of authentic Portuguese ones. If you are Brazilian or Portuguese, you will know what I'm talking about, hands down the cod fritters were the best ones I've ever had!!! It's just delicious and perfectly done. They should add this to the menu. While the cocktails were just okay, the pizza dough was delicious and perfectly sized for sharing between two or three people. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience I would come back to check more pizza flavors.

Overall very disappointing. Seated late, slow service, greasy suppli (I've lived in Italy, these are not right), and dry dessert that feels left over from several days prior. The pizza was fine which is about the best thing I can say for it but its a local place so I'm glad I tried it ... won't be returning though.

I was apprehensive after reading the many recent reviews complaining about service, but we wanted to try the food so we went anyway. The service we received was actually very nice and we didn't experience the rude waitress the other reviews mentioned. The pizzas were great, typical wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients and a charred/chewy texture. I thought the real star of the show was the appetizers! We got the fried risotto and burrata toast and both were delicious. We sat on the heated patio which was pleasant and warm. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived for our 5:15 reservation but by the time we were leaving it was filling up.

The food was overall good - nothing too wildly amazing. The prices were over the top for small appetizers and drinks. But the surly and mostly absent service is what really hits home. There are so many good options out there - no reason to spend this much on an okay meal with substandard service.

The pizza, cocktails, and home-made ice cream are the best! Definitely my go-to pizza place.

The pizzas here are made with well fermented sourdough, and the cooking technique makes them perfectly charred, such that the crusts are worth eating. Especially with the chilli oil and cheese they provide complimentary. The pizza flavors were good, though not worth coming back for from other neighborhoods. The standouts are the dessert imo; the chocolate hazelnut torte, its rich and nutty and not too sweet. It doesn't need the cream. The panna cotta is somewhere between an authentic panna cotta and a Greek yogurt, but really delicious and light. While the food is a 5 star affair, there could be way more options for vegetarians by default. Most of the seemingly vegetarian options have animal fats or broths in them. Service could be better; we felt rushed to order at our table with the frequent check ins.

First pizza place visited that provides a large pair of scissors for cutting your own pizza! Favorite was the Funghi, followed by the Margherita and Romana (all very good).

We went on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get seats at the bar. Definitely make a reservation in advance! Our food was delicious. A lot of good options on the menu. The service was great as well. Give this place a try!

The pizza was very good (as was the case on other visits). Still unimpressive wine selections (by the glass and bottle). Service was among the worst we've ever experienced. The woman "helping" us was unfriendly, actively rude, and obstinate. Examples: my husband was mid-sentence ordering a drink when we first arrived and she said "well, I'll let you think about it" and quickly walked away. Later, he ordered a glass of wine, which she forgot to bring. Even later, when ordering dessert, I asked her whether there were any fruit or nuts in the desserts we were considering ... I asked where what was in/on the rum baba ... she told me "whipped cream" ... I confirmed with her no fruit? She said "whipped cream". Well, it came with cherries and a cherry sauce all over the cake and whipped cream ... I'm allergic to cherries (and many other fruits ... that's why I asked). The chocolate dessert had hazelnuts, after she told us there were no nuts. I'm allergic to certain nuts too. Her obstinance was not only rude, but could result in a MEDICAL SITUATION for guests ... from other reviews, it seems this woman could be the person who is providing abysmal service to other guests too ... it seems she either needs training, or perhaps a role outside of the service industry. To the manager/owners : please look at the rude service reviews and address them ... I would like to come back for the well prepared/fresh food, but will not be doing so (and will not be recommending this restaurant to others) until there is respectful/respectable service.

Pizza (crust) was delicious, got the funghi. Also ordered octopus (it was good, but wish it came with bread to soak up the sauce), and the baby lettuce salad. More than enough for two people, but I got to take leftovers home. We had made reservations about a day ahead, and were seated in the patio. I hated sitting outdoors, it was incredibly loud and it felt like everyone was shouting to be able to hear. Seating is pretty close together, both inside and outside. I think the ambiance is set up to look intimate and cozy but there's too many people crammed in (and it was at full capacity on a Tuesday night). Happy they have business, but I probably wouldn't consider this a go-to date spot!
