I got the Picadillo ( traditional carribian ) and a ginger beer. The ambiance here is great. They play carribian music at a decent volume and the staff are very friendly! The food showed up and it was at least 3 lbs of ground beef, black beans and slaw, all of it was phenomenally cooked, seasoned and presented. I kid you not, this is my favorite food spot in seattle. Best Caribbean sandwiches in town, better than Paseos or Un Bien. My go-to is the 1am sandwich or the West Indies. Love the ambiance and outdoor seating area too. Super close to Greenlake so it’s great to take to-go and eat by the lake.
