Our favorite cafe in Seattle. Great coffee, AMAZING food. Breakfast sandwiches, pastries etc are all very special and unique. We’re always recommending it to friends. So glad to have found it!

What a lovely crew at this immaculate little shop! We were strangers in an unfamiliar neighborhood and stepped in to get out of the rain. Enticed by the aroma of coffee and chai tea, we learned quickly that they have a full menu. Run by a husband and wife team, they celebrate their combined Chinese and German heritage with the food and drink offerings. They even serve beer and wine and drink specials. Obviously they are great people because we went back for more on the next day and the staff treated us like old friends and regulars! Highly recommended.

Food and coffee are both delicious. Loved the kumquat coferment coffee.

The coffee was perfect, the egg sandwich was delicious, and the barista at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. Overall, had a wonderful time here and would love to return.

I hadn’t visited Cardoon since July. Back then, there seemed to be new baristas, and I didn’t enjoy the latte as much as the ones I’d had earlier in the year. I went back today to try a new flavor, and it looks like the barista who consistently makes great coffee is back. And yes—I loved today’s coffee, and it’s the prettiest one I’ve ever had.

The coffee is good and it’s clear they want you to drink it with only milk. They only have two milk options: whole and oat. Their flavor options are limited. One person in the group got lava caramel which was awful and just tasted like fennel.

Is one of the busiest cafe in Ballard. Their coffee is nice. Enjoy my coffee very much outside the cafe with cooling weather.

The rose latte had too much syrup and was overall ok.

The honey cake is stunning (I’m Ukrainian and have high standards for honey cakes!)

We tried Latte's, and the honey cake. This might be an unpopular opinion, but the flavors, both the soy caramel and the lava carmel, were pretty unappetizing. The flavors also came with an extra $1.40 charge, which felt a bit steep. I asked if they had regular caramel, but unfortunately they didn't. Out of curiosity, I also asked what the lava caramel was made of, but the barista didn't seem to know.

The honey cake was actually quite good-light and flavorful-but again, on the pricey side. Overall, the place feels a bit overhyped. I might return to try a plain latte, but wouldn't go out of my way for anything else.

I'd say that would try them again, but honestly, the seaweed coffee is disgusting. I would say for not being a busy place, it's not a fast service place. They seem to be slower than normal. They are harder to find as they're tucked in of the road. Parking is limited but that's seattle.
