We visited for the Mother's Day Brunch and were very excited because we love going to Charlotte for dinner. Unfortunately, this was a pretty big let down. Firstly, it was freezing in the restaurant, so much so that the wait staff was bringing blankets to some guests. Our whole table was shivering. Second, the saxophone player was playing so loud, we had to shout over it. But, the biggest disappointment was the food. It was so far off from the quality and flavors of their dinners. On the positive side, the view is always amazing, and there was a large table filled with beautiful desserts. It was still fun to be out with the family for Mother's Day, but we definitely could have had much better food for a much lower cost. I'll avoid special events there in the future.

Food was pretty good! That said, we had a 3 course menu for Mother's day experience. First course took more than an hour to be served after we arrived, and the others also took a fairly long time to be served too. We noticed that every table that had kids were the ones where service was slower which makes the experience terrible for parents.

Great service with a beautiful view. Most of the food was delicious but the halibut was very overcooked. My steak was good and cooked perfectly. Appetizers were creative and delicious.

Much like a person that has a high opinion of themselves, this restaurant underwhelms and over charges for marginal. Marginal service(slow and inattentive), wine that is marked up 300% and a $60 charge for cutting a cake that we brought in for a birthday. To cap off the offense, the bill had a paragraph that explained that a portion of the 20% service charge was given to the kitchen staff to guilt me into tipping the wait staff more. Given the choices of great restaurants in Seattle, this is one that lost a recommendation and a second visit. It's a shame because the views are amazing.

The best food I’ve had in Seattle so far. Devin is one of the best servers we have ever had, wrote a list of places to see in Seattle on our conference visit. Would suggest you splurge and get a dessert!

Excellent food and service with a great view. Croissant was warm when served. Great spot for breakfast.

Seriously? You charged $50 per person to sit at a window? What's next? Should have been a red flag from the beginning. If you are going to itemize every piece of the "experience" then maybe consider doing some market research and making a name for yourself first. Canlis would never do this and that's enough for me to say no, thanks.

Ok, it's been a bit since I've been, but I think it's finally time to write a review. Let's start with the good things. Charlotte has an amazing aesthetic and view, and is very calming and nice. The food is another story. It's not that it's bad, I actually quite enjoyed the octopus, but a lot of it just lacked flavor. Many dishes looked amazing but lacked complexity. For its face being fine dining, these dishes weren't it. I wouldn't say to not go, but I wouldn't go for the food alone.

The hotel restaurant area was very nice. Water view. The food was fair with very long delays between courses. The wait staff was personable but not on top of refilling water or coffee. The food was not hot enough. The deviled eggs were the best part of brunch. Desserts were very good. Easter brunch was not worth the money. Room service cheeseburger and fries were delicious. I have a moderately sophisticated palate and this and the service delays did not meet my expectations.

Food was amazing, service was great and the ambiance very lovely. We came to celebrate our anniversary and stayed at the Lotte hotel and the Charlotte Restaurant is inside the hotel. They also have a lounge side, we had cocktails after the Teatro Zinzanni show. We would definitely be back.

The ambience is amazing! The food was good. The service was below average. The staff was friendly but very slow, drinks came out five minutes apart from each other, staff didn't check on us and then came and gave us the bill even though we wanted more drinks and coffee. I will go back but the service needs to improve.

What a great view. Our server was friendly and did a great job. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the sea bass and the preparation was perfect. Lastly, the dining room is very spacious and provides a nice ambiance.

This place was disappointing. It has such a clean / fun design but everything else is lame. The service is slow and awkward. Took oddly long to get beverages, and they were not busy. I wouldn't say the view is worth eating here, go somewhere else and get better oysters.

Ambiance and scenery, top notch. Service, what the heck! So, then the bill comes in and the service is already prepaid! Ok, no Wonder the service was garbage. C'mon Seattle. Went there for breakfast to celebrate my husband's birthday. Two of us and our five year old. Two dishes one child's plate and two coffees $105. This was not even the issue the server was below average and never asked if we wanted a refill on the coffee or how anything was he could not be any less interested. We were seated as three but there was only silverware for two and when I asked the server to bring a third fork when the food was there he was not happy about that. Too bad the view is great but the service makes you wanna run away and never come back.
