This used to be my husband's favorite restaurant—and became one of mine. However since the menu change (and I believe Change of hands?) it has been disappointing the last 4 times we've visited. Portions are smaller for more money, the brisket is older/dryer and not as fresh, the menu change took away some of our favorite options & some of the recipes have changed. Their old fashions (made with buffalo trace bourbon) were delicious/top tier! But we can no longer call it our favorite restaurant as the food as really “fallen off” :/

Great food, especially the egg roll appetizer. Smoked meats were good and I really liked their sauces. Food came out quickly and the service was great! Bryce was our server and was very attentive and friendly. He kept a close eye to make sure our needs were met. Check this place out if you like BBQ.

Atmosphere: Mostly solid/hard floors and walls, very noisy and hard to talk with the person next to you. Food: I ordered 1/2 pound brisket ($17), potato salad ($4.50), and cornbread ($1.50). Coleslaw was sold out so I got potato salad. Brisket was wet but tasted very dry and almost chewy. I typically eat brisket without sauce but had to douse this brisket to get any flavor at all. It was not cut into slices, it was just a pile of pieces on the plate. Zero smoke ring from what I could see, and seemed more like a beef roast than a brisket. The potato salad was average, but for the portion it was way overpriced. Portion was maybe 3 heaping tablespoons at best. The cornbread never arrived so I have no review on the cornbread. My son got the brisket smash burger with fries ($16). He said the taste was bland, and very little meat in the burger. He didn't really have an opinion on the fries. Service: Waiter was friendly and seemed outgoing. At the end of the meal he brought the check for a table of four instead of ours. He took that back and gave us our check, that's when I realized they charged for the cornbread but never delivered. So he had to take it back, but came back with a corrected check and had removed the cornbread and potato salad. I said I didn't ask for that, and wanted to pay for what I ate, but he insisted. Overall: Very noisy, food was bland compared to other local restaurants serving similar food for similar price point. For $17 I can get true brisket that is much better at any of several local smoke restaurants. Would I visit again: Not likely

We celebrated a birthday at Smoked Bar & Grill. Oftentimes, it's hard to find a place that nails every single aspect of a “perfect dinner.” However, Smoked Bar & Grill did just that. The service was outstanding, with a truly amazing server, Lewis. He was beyond attentive to our table, and nonetheless, incredibly personable! Family memories are so sentimental to us, and Smoked Bar & Grill has certainly become our new spot for family dinners!

The restaurant had sold out of food, beer and even certain soda on Memorial Day weekend. They should have told us before we sat down that there was barely anything available on the menu. All you had to do was tell us you ran out of food. That would have been fine. The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, but it took over an hour to get our food. They also kept coming over to tell us they ran out of something. They comped a meal we didn't eat because it was leftovers and still left the server a generous tip. Please be honest with your customers when they arrive. We will never go back.

We took a trip out to Hershey and stopped here. The brisket was delicious. All of our meals were great. Our waiter was fabulous.

Been a customer since Smoked opened. Very disappointed. Seated on bar side with bartender as server. Beer was served in a warm glass that must have just come out of dishwasher. Salsa with chips has changed from what was a very fresh tasting salsa that seemed made on site to something that tastes like something n a jar at the grocery store. Wife's brisket dip sandwich was very light on brisket and the “artisan roll” with my chicken sandwich was just like the hamburger rolls I get at Giant. Finally, we used to order takeout as often as visiting resteraunt but they now want 1.5 hours for take out tells me they don't really want take out orders. Sad to see a good local business fade.

My wife and I went to the restaurant prior to the Hershey Bears game. My wife ordered the chicken tacos and I ordered the Tex-Mex salad. She also ordered a beer. When the chicken tacos came out, the amount of chicken on them was greatly lacking. They contained more onions then chicken. My wife mentioned it to the server, and he stated that they had changed some menu items along with some portion sizes. He then brought her out some additional chicken to put on her tacos. My Tex-Mex salad was average, though it did contain plenty of chicken. The other thing about the experience was that the restaurant was not busy at all, but it took 30 minutes to receive our two entrees which is a quite long. Also, at our first visit to this restaurant a year or two ago were ordered the brisket and it was extremely fatty. Unfortunately after two visits, we will likely not been returning to this restaurant.

Not SAFE! Just had dinner there with friends, we were seated near some dart boards(only table available) during dinner some creepy man and women decided they needed to play darts more than we needed to finish our dinner, so the stood over our table to encourage us to leave. We had no idea we were an obstacle to their dart game, and we asked them to please step away from our table. Things escalated and eventually a server convinced the aggressive D Bag to move and allow us to finish our dinner. This is not a place where you can go and have a reasonable expectation that you could enjoy a meal free from bullies and jerks, but if you like darts? And you are a D bag, this place could be perfect for you.

Service was very slow. Food was good but were out of things. Alabama white sauce is delicious! I got the Texas born baker, a delicious massive baked potato but not nearly enough toppings for size of the potato. I couldn't see or taste any bacon that was supposed to be on it and I asked for jalapeños on it which they charged extra for. Very little cheese sauce. My spouse had macaroni and cheese as one of his sides, while it was good, there was only about 4 bites of it.

We ate there in the past this time the brisket sucked no smoke flavor , they bake there Mac & cheese now not smoked. They switched waitresses on us before are meal came out and the next girl had our food all mixed up. She blamed the cook for having a medical emergency had to go to hospital. Does not a good night probably won't be back.

We go to Smoked about once a year when my daughter gets a craving for their nachos. Sunday night was very quiet, the restaurant was considerably less than half full. Smoked has a decent beer on-tap list, and we had a nice Lost Trails IPA. The nachos and Caesar salad were good, my chili was just okay. I was hungering for a burger, and got the house burger, but it was really greasy. My wife said her pulled brisket sandwich was okay, but the cheese was "gloppy". Service was excellent.

Opentable Diner

Very good food. Great atmosphere. Decent drinks. They definitely need to hire a host & maybe another server. It took a minute to be greeted & sat. However everything else was perfect!

Affordable barbecue restaurant. Very attentive waiter, who did very well. The whole hog platter was good, although they were out of pulled pork at 6:30pm. Food all kind of tasted the same, but good. It was a Sunday so it's understandable that they were out of some items an hour, and a half before close. The hot honey chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. The one thing that ruined the flavor of the sandwich for me in particular was the pickled red onions. Would be a much better idea to add a small amount of slaw onto that type of sandwich instead, as the onions totally destroy the sweetness from the honey. Overall a decent dining experience for my family, and I. Would probably like to stop in again another night in the future.
