Small city bakery. Decent selection of cakes, sweets and breads but they do appear to be sleeping there too long. Interior seating, chairs/tables are rough and unappealing. But, wow, 8$ for one baguette is asking too much to be a 'local' bread store. A real slap-in-the-face, please-leave-now message. If you need fresh bread, go 200m north to PCC and pay 3$ for same thing. (Guess how much a baguette costs in France?).
Phenomenal bread - especially their rotating sourdoughs - and excellent pastries. Their fruit danishes, peanut butter cookies, and savory hand pies are family favorites, but you can’t go wrong with anything you order. Their focaccia is also heavenly. We once got a full cake (fruit and buttercream) and it had enough substance and style to impress even Paul Hollywood. Their coffee is also good, and they have a nice sandwich selection if you need a substantive lunch option.

The sandwich is 50% arugula, 30% what has to be the hardest bread in the Pacific nothwest, and 20% chicken salad. I received with the top pf the bread gone on one side. Essentially, it was an arugula sandwich. Did...
