Everything was exceptional, the food, the service, the great chefs that you can see from part of the dining room. The one thing however that kept my experience from being next level, was the misplacement of the frisee on the main dish, the duck confit. Its too bitter, naturally and it's a little bit of a shock to the pallette compared with what otherwise could have been a great plate with subtly bold sauce and perfect puff pastry. I just got home and I'm still confused...
I treated my parents to Copine for their holiday gift, since they do not usually treat themselves to fine dining.
The staff made an incredible experience and the food was amazing,... parents were raving about the atmosphere, service and taste.

Having lived in Quebec for many years, I have very high standards for French cuisine. However, Copine became my favorite French restaurant in Seattle from the very first bite of the amuse-bouche. This restaurant deserves far more recognition than it currently receives
