My mom & I had an extra hour in Issaquah today so we popped in for coffee and a quivk break. We shared the brioche French toast and the vegetarian tacos and were very satisfied. There are a few seating sections available, I only snapped a picture of the one.
The butter croissant was fine but fairly average.
The cream puff, however, was excellent — light cream, not overly sweet, and very well balanced. Easily the standout pastry for me.
Coffee-wise, they only offer drip coffee, with no espresso-based options. The coffee itself was okay, but the lack of variety was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the pastries were hit-or-miss, with the cream puff being the highlight.

I visited Crumble & Flake with my wife on a cold but sunny Saturday morning. The café is located in Gillman Village and offers both outdoor seating—which is quite pleasant on a nice day—and indoor seating.
