We wanted to have dinner downtown close to hotel for out of town guests. We had an early evening reservation for family birthday. Three generations. Service was truly outstanding - attentive but not intrusive. Well timed. Food was excellent. Fish and steak. We had a memorable evening. Thank you!

The food is delicious and presentation is beautiful. It is a limited menu and vegetables are extra, so be prepared to add a substantial amount to your bill for every item. The steaks are amazing, though, and the baked potatoes are huge! 20% is added to every check, but your server only gets 10% of that, so be sure to take care of your server if you enjoyed the service. We celebrated our anniversary and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert. It was a lovely evening.

NY steak was not cooked to proper temperature. Dessert was a little disappointing. Service was very good. Parking validation was a Huge disappointment. We were given validation that amounted to $2. I was surprised and laughed at the parking gate. I would offer no validation if giving only $2. El Goucho provides full validation for dining experience.

Overall a disappointing visit. Had to send the food back twice. Ordered rack of lamb, medium rare. The first time it was almost well done; the second time it was ice cold in the center. Not rare, but raw. Very disappointing. The manager was apologetic and tried to make it right, but seems the kitchen is probably better with beef. Service was just OK; prices across the board are high.

Signature cocktails and starter courses were FANTASTIC! Likewise were the main courses and sides. Our server Emily was a delight and all the staff we encountered made us feel welcome, valued, and were exceptionally professional yet warm.

our server Nikki was incredible, she was so kind and make sure we had everything we needed the bussers were also very fast and cleared dishes away quite quickly, we were on a time crunch and they got food out to us super fast. the only thing we disliked was the 20% gratuity charge for the whole meal-it does not go to the staff which we were unhappy about, it goes to the restaurant and our server was unsure and could not tell us where it went exactly. great restaurant but that charge will prevent us from coming back

The ribeye was fine but not worth the price. Lamb was good. What bothered me most was, at the end of the meal, the server highlighted in marker and expressly pointed out that the 20% service charge was retained by the restaurant. She said she didn't know where that amount went - maybe to pay benefits for the kitchen staff, maybe not (“I just work here”). When I asked why not just raise prices, she responded that she thought the restaurant didn't want to do that for each individual dish. Put on the spot we paid an additional 20% tip, which comes to a 40% in service fees on an already expensive meal. Next time, I'll stick to the Butcher's Table.

Bacon wrapped scallops, brussel sprouts and bread=perfect combo.

It was an excellent choice. The steak was perfect and the warm butter cake was amazing! My server initially forget the lemon for my water. When he remembered without my asking, he quickly apologized and retrieve it. I appreciate his directness and recognition.

I decided to grab dinner and a drink while traveling for work (raining and didn’t feel like walking). The drinks were fine. Unfortunately the wedge salad had a flavorless slice of beefsteak tomato (think cafeteria sandwich) and the “prime” rib eye was flavorless and tough. Unfortunately I have had better steak at Outback. The mashed potatoes were relatively flavorless.

Lovely server who was very personable but for price you pay you should be blown away by the food and we were not at all. 2 for $400 and nothing notable about any part of the food served.

The one star is not for the service. It's because they charge a 20% service charge which doesn't go to the staff (yes I asked).

My NY strip steak was excellent, but not what made my evening. Dining alone, not drinking alcohol, having requested a well-lit table to read my book, I was certainly not their most profitable customer of the night. My server, Nikki, made me feel like I was the most important customer in the place. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

This place is wayy too overpriced. Got a steak, a drink and an appetizer and the bill was nearly $200. The food was good but absolutely not worth the price
