Daniel’s Broiler Downtown Reviews
The food was very medium and the portions were huge, probably twice what I normally eat.Even the drinks were very boozy, a glass of 🍷probably pours you 2/3 cups so full.I was a little surprised that there were macarons for dessert because it felt like a 21st century dessert 😂
The food and service was amazing.

Daniel’s Broiler Downtown is a well-known steakhouse located in the Hyatt Regency Seattle, offering a classic and upscale dining experience with a great view. The restaurant is praised for its consistently well-cooked steaks, especially the 16 ounce ribeyes, which are described as hot, tender, and flavorful. The atmosphere strikes a good balance between upscale and comfortable, making it suitable for both special occasions and a polished night out. The wine and spirits selection is extensive, and the service is generally attentive and professional. Many reviewers highlight the staff’s responsiveness, with one mentioning outstanding service from a specific server who made the experience even better.
However, some reviews mention that the prices are high and that the experience can be quite spendy, with a 20% fee added to the bill, which some find surprising or excessive. Food quality receives mixed feedback: some find the food to be wonderful and cooked to perfection, while others feel that the side dishes can be overcooked, salty, or drown in dressing, and that the meal should have more than just good quality for the price paid. There was also an incident of unfriendly service at the bar, which negatively impacted a guest’s experience. Overall, Daniel’s Broiler Downtown is regarded as a reliable, high-end steakhouse with a great setting, though some feel the value does not always match the cost.
