Classic no frills dimsum with friendly service and delicious food - been here probably 20 times in the past 10 years. Shrimp and shrimp and chive dumplings, and turnip cake, and flat noodles are my favorite. Tried the cucumber salad today and loved that. Siu mai today was a bit too big for my taste and both that and chow fun lacked some flavor. This is a neighborhood staple for me and I’ll be back!
A hidden gem(?) of Beacon Hill area, there are other places nearby that might be better known, but i would hesitate to say they are better than Dim Sum House.Nice clean establishment with really good food. Small eating area, but one can order online to go. Worth the visit. Everything i ordered came out piping hot and very tasty.

Try the brown “baak tong gou”. It has a strong molasses flavor and was really good.
