The vibe from the employees are amazing! My food and drinks are always super on. The staff make you feel like a VIP! The only down fall is the the smell of urine coming from the homeless, you have to worry about tripping over their things. I think it's always great to give back to the community. Perhaps they should limit how long those coming in only for free coffee and pastries from sleeping in the Cafe and the amount of time they can stay.
The crew at this coffee shop are amazing. Being next door to a hospital, there is never a moment when there isn't a line out the door. The staff handle a high volume and the various clientele from around the First Hill area while still managing to be personable and friendly. I have come to appreciate this place over the years.
The Red Bull Italian soda sang, bright and alive, so I returned expecting that same spark. The amaretto Italian soda came thin, almost shy of flavor, syrup barely whispering at the bottom. I didn’t have time to turn back, but the disappointment stayed with me.
