I had Dump Truck prepare a large order for an event I was hosting at my home this past weekend and boy did they do a great job!
From my first interaction with their catering coordinator, Lisa (who works out of another Plenty of Clouds location but helped me nonetheless), to my pickup on the day of, it was seamless. Lisa put together a menu for me and quantified the orders of everything based on my guest list size and intended budget. She was even able to get an earlier pickup time for me despite the truck's regular hours!
The food was truly unparalleled! The dumplings were a crowd favorite and the sesame noodles and cucumbers are absolutely worth trying!
Thank you, Dump Truck for making my 60-person gathering such a success!

This spot is wonderful. Noodles here are top notch, flavor is wonderful (spicy and nutty😋)lots of variety (great for vegetarians and meat eaters) and generous portions. Goes great with beer too! Thank you!

I'll be honest, the first time I ate here I wasn't so sure about the food. It's got very unique flavors that are different than most Asian food that I've had before. I've now been here more than half a dozen times and I love it. We always get the dumplings and the sesame noodles with half and half tofu mushroom. It's got great flavor and goes great with the hoppy beer at Cloudburst. Go in with an open mind and you won't be disappointed!

This is a standout in a world with tons of brewery food trucks that all serve mediocre $20+ entrees. It’s not the same caliber as their brick and mortar location. But the same tingly Szechuan spices and some tasty homemade noodles are quite good. Get the cucumbers or split the dumplings for an appetizer. Spicy peanut noodles are my favorite entree.
Located outside Cloudburst brewery which has indoor/outdoor seating with rain cover and great beer.

Got the mala noodles which were probably the worst i ve ever had- the noodles themselves were gummy, and the broth was minimal (not enough to even come half way up the noodles) and not flavorful at all. It was also served warm, not hot which makes it pretty unsatisfying to eat.
2 stars instead of one because I am happy to see Asian food of any type at a brewery and the other toppings were mediocre but totally edible
The food truck at Cloudburst Brewing offered several vegan options. We had the Garlicky Cucumbers and the House-Made Flatbread Sandwich with tofu. Both were excellent and had a nice spice level.
The brewery was pet friendly and offered plenty of seating. We sat outside under the heaters. It was very pleasant on a cool and rainy day.

Cloudburst’s Ballard location has a great atmosphere, and I appreciate that it’s pet-friendly, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with my dog. I’ve also enjoyed their beer selection during my previous visits.
This time, I decided to try the food truck everyone talks about, specifically the dan dan noodles. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, which ruined the texture for me. The sesame flavor was overwhelming and overpowered any other flavors in the dish. Additionally, there was a tingly sensation in my mouth that I wasn’t expecting and found distracting.
It would have been helpful if the menu or staff mentioned that the dish includes Sichuan peppercorns, as the numbing sensation isn’t for everyone. If I had known, I might have chosen a different dish.
While I still enjoy the brewery’s atmosphere and beer, I wouldn’t return to the food truck based on this experience. I hope they consider improving the texture of their noodles and balancing the flavors more thoughtfully.

Beer scene advice, delivered at warp speed… 😧🍺🇺🇸
while the service was otherwise great, i ordered the sesame noodles but not only didn’t get sesame, it looks like a british meal but more sad and depressing. The chicken looks lab grown and the green beans were not appetizing. this meal single handedly took away my appetite.

extremely pricey food items for small portions and mediocre quality. Nice atmosphere and workers but the quality of the food was absolutely not worth the price. Save your dollars and go somewhere better.

Ima do 2 ⭐️⭐️ cuz the service; Service greatly affects the food🍲🍜 as we all know. I dunno what that girl’s problem was on Thursday night but lighten Up! Maybe another person is needed and 1 person gets overwhelmed? cuz that was so much attitude ☠️😑

One of the best bowl of noodles I've had in a long time. Got the Sesame Noodles with tofu and shrooms. Fresh veggies, luscious noodles, and tasty marinated tofu. I special ordered without the chili and it was still awesome. The venue was packed that night with well over 100 people, and a good percentage of them eating from the truck. So I was pleasantly surprised that I was only half done with a beer when my bowl was delivered with a smile. Looking forward to my next visit. Great spot to drink and see live music semi-outdoors too.
Vegetarian options: Sounds like most everything can be made with fresh veg and/or tofu.
Dietary restrictions: They were quite accommodating leaving out the chili on mine.

Food took over an hour and a half for 1 order of dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. The dumplings arrived raw and uncooked.

Pretty decent for a food truck. The Mala Ban was fairly Americanised, but still rather tasty. I was hoping for a thicker, more pastelike sauce, but it was served with a broth instead. I also opted for "more spicy", but I don't think they actually used any chilis - all numb, no heat. If you're looking for actual szechuan food, try somewhere else.
