I really hate to leave a bad review, but I have been here many times and recently had a terrible experience. Pastries are delicious as always! But I ordered three coffees that were all made incorrectly. Two coconut banana cold brews, which said they had cold foam on them, had no foam and no flavour to either. And my partner, who ordered a hazelnut latte, also had no flavour. All three drinks were just straight coffee or straight coffee with milk. We understand how busy it can...
I routinely order pastries for the office here. Today I searched for gluten free for one of our employees who is allergic to gluten. Several items came up and I ordered a gluten free breakfast burrito. It was wrapped in a flour tortilla, and not gluten free. They had heated it so it was not in the original wrapper so I googled it. Another item that popped up as gluten free was a sandwich on a ciabatta bun. Please don’t list items as gluten free if they are not.
Convienient location, friendly and welcoming staff, and yummy pastries. I love the little hidden patio outside. Matcha muffin and kouign-amann are my favorite. There are always new ones to try too. Would love to see more savory vegetarian options for pastries!
